July 2022 Release Fourth Preview: Dwarfs, Sons of Ymir!

Hope you are having a great week. Today we have the pleasure to show you the last unit for this upcoming July 2022 Release: Dwarfs, Sons of Ymir... the Dwarfs Marksmen Unit!
The Dwarfs Marksmen Unit is composed of five (5) Dwarfs Marksmen Core miniatures and three (3) Dwarfs Marksmen Command Group. Due to the design and pose of the miniatures, any of these dwarfs are modular and they come as single pieces. 🪓
We have created also a small diorama piece, the Dwarf Barricade, that can be placed in front of this unit to protect them from their enemies!
As you can see, we have decided to increase the command group for this unit. At the beginning we were going to do only a Dwarf Marksman captain, but we have also created a musician and a bannerman.
And remember, the upcoming July 2022 Release will be composed of:
7x Dwarfs WarriorsCore Miniatures with modular weapons and shields
5x Dwarfs WarriorsCore Miniatures with two-handed axes and monopose
3x Dwarfs WarriorsCommand Group
5x Dwarfs Marksmen Core Miniatures: Dwarfs with hand crafted gunpowder guns
3x Dwarf Marksmen Command Group
This upcoming July Release, the first one for our new fantasy Dwarf Army is going to be amazing. We would love to see these twenty three (23) dwarf miniatures printed and painted by the community. We could try but unfortunately... we are not the greatest painters in the world. 😜

I know its a big ask but could we see the dwarves also get a few female minis per unit like the humans did?
Hi Ryder! The female dwarfs will come as a single heavy warriors unit at the moment, but we will probably make an expasion set in the future with female dwarfs for some of the core and special units :)

Finally, dwarves that aren't overdesigned and reminiscent of whfb's dwarves! Those are perfect!

Slow down a bit ... I still have the skeletons to paint :) Lovely miniatures though... I will Paint like the wind to get ready for these...
I'm glad to see some of the models have modular options. Your models are beautiful but the lack of modularity has always been a downside for me. I hope modularity becomes more common in your models in the future.
Don't mind the guns at all, allthough I am like most tabletop guys very interestet in historical Stuff... but thats what historical games are for! As long as the technology makes sense in the context of the game and the world it really doesn't have to follow any real historical fact... the Chaos dwarfs shoot oversiced shotguns out of a tight Formation... did this ever happen in real live? Of course not... so the question is as always where to draw the line of what fits the world. And that is, als always the artists choice. We can decide witch artists produce content we like the most and Support those here on patreon... so why this discussion about historical correctness in a fantasy setting??
Perfection! I will definitely be printing all the July models as soon as they are available and will do my best to keep up on painting. I’m horribly slow and picky with my models, and still learning a lot. I will be sure to post some pics once things are underway.

A pity they are holding actual rifles and not the arquebuses they should have ... I understand a lot of people blur the historic lines between medieval (1066 up to 1425-1450) and everything from Renaissance to Industrial Revolution for their fantasy games, but a lot of us ALSO color inside the lines and don't want to see any tech that is post-medieval. At least make it an option, fcs.
Sorry mate but that's not gonna happen. This line of miniatures is not intended to be part of any historical line and they will use many techonology items that are not representative of the medieval ages.
