Ezekiel, the Lord Necromancer in Flying Monster!

Hope you have had a great start of the week! Today we can finally show you the biggest miniature we've ever made, our hero miniature for this June 2022 Release: Ezekiel, the Lord Necromancer in Flying Monster!
When we started to think about this miniature we had a couple ideas in mind about how we should create the flying monster and what we wanted to represent with it. As you have probably noticed, the design of our Transilvanya range of miniatures, our undead army, is influenced by the slavic culture -the Boyar Skeletons are the perfect example of that- so we went to the slavic mythology in order to find references and ideas for the flying monster, and we did it! We found this amazing illustration called "Fight Dobrynya Nikitich with seven-headed Serpent dragon" created by Vasnetsov Viktor Mikhaylovich (c. 1918) and we use it as the main reference to design the flying monster -but of course, with only one head-.
👉🏻 Ezekiel, the Lord Necromancer comes separated from the flying monster and it has a modular weapon that comes with three options: scythe, sword and mace. The flying monster comes separated in four pieces: right and left wings, the tail and the main body that comes attached to the chapel.
As we said in the previous post about the Wraith miniatures, we have also gather a lot of inspiration from Tolkien's work and the illustrations created by Alan Lee and John Howe.
The idea about the need to create this big hero miniature comes from an old miniature from the Vampire Count army that probably some of you still remember called "Zacharias, the Everliving".
We really like the outcome of this miniature, specially the flying monster, and we are anxious to see it printed and painted!

Thank you Slendy! All our miniatures are in 32mm heroic scale. If you want a 28mm heroic scale you have to print it at around 86% - 87%.
This is simply amazing and it's probably gonna be my first big miniature that I print. Great job guys!!!

And... I am back again. :) I paused during the Sisters as I had no need for them, but skeletons and zombies are always fine. Great work with them.

Great looking duo that would serve equally well as a Fell Beast and Wraith in LOTR themed games and dioramas. Can the monster be printed without the Church steeple? It would me nice if was seperate and could slide on to the steeple for display purposes, but could also serve on an elevated "flying" stand, since the wings are spread out far enough.

I absolutely love it. Idea though, could we possibly get some sort of darkly attractive maiden that rides on top of it with a scythe? Just to recreate one of my favorite things.

I really like it, especially the name, normal, it's my nickname in the games :D. The monster could have been a bit "zombiefied" for me.

Hmm, I like the serpent, but I don't think it matches with the rider. It resembles a Winged Nazgul. Honestly an orc would be a better fit..., or a necromancer instead of a ghost, or a vampire or even a knight. For the theme an undead serpent, dragon.. would have been better. Nice creature, but it feels out of place with the rest of the release. The only thing that matches is the ghost figure.. which doesn't fit "my" vision of a necromancer.
As the rider comes separated from the the flying monster, you can place the rider you want on top of it! :)

Thank you Furio! Yes, it comes split in pieces to be printable with smaller printers, like the old Anycubic Photon or the Elegoo Mars :)
