Good evening guys, ⚔️
Very quick post today to show you the last hero miniature for this October Release: Vlad Valăcari, the Defiler, the first vampire of his lineage. 🧛🏻
This is the first evil hero vampire we have created ever and it will be the first one of many more to come for Transilvanya. We really like the "human" and "historical" approach to the vampires, so this miniature is heavily inspired by Vlad III of Wallachia, also known as Vlad Țepeș or Vlad Drăculea. You can learn more about this figure here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlad_the_Impaler
Vlad Valăcari comes in three optional versions, two human versions with and without his characteristic hat, and another version converting himself in a vampire monster.
Also, we can announce the second event for this October Release, very related to his miniature... We are going to make our first collaboration with Craftworld Studios, an amazing and talented panting team that will be doing a live video in his Youtube channel about how to paint Vlad Valăcari. The date is still waiting to being confirmed, but probably it will be on Thursday 21 or Friday 22. We'll let you know as soon as we finish all the details about the event! 🥳
Tomorrow we'll make another post with the poll to choose the direction of Highlands Miniatures for the November and December releases.
Have a nice week guys. We read you as always! ❤️

We really need his wife in an epic ballgown/masquerade costume.....
Is there still a poll forthcoming?
Hi David! We will talk about it soon, but this October Release is going to take us more time than expected, so probably it isn't going to be a poll for November, so we can start with that release as soon as we finish this one, with some ideas and design we already have in mind so we can go faster, trying to bring the schedule back! We will let you know very soon!
I miss the "Transformed" Version within the Unsupported Package. Thanks for the nice sculpts, btw. ;) I like them, even as the knee-caps are still abit out of proportion.
Ups, we missed it! Today we are going to be outside, but tomorrow we will upload it to the Drive Archive. Thank you for noticing it!
Discovered you because of the monty python models, looked over the rest of your MMF store and decided to add you on here. I am not disappointed, keep up the great work!
Thank you very much David! Glad you like the miniatures. Hopefully we will have time soon to keep working on some monty python miniatures :D
I am so excited for all of this months Minis! You're my favorite patreon!
thank you very much Ian!! <3
Foarte beine!
I was extremely excited to see what you would do with vampires on foot. I usually like your work. I am sorry but these sculpts are not good at all. I feel like these completely missed. I was hoping for the same style the mounted vampires were. I hope the vampire unit will be better.
Hi Michael! Thank you for your feedback. Don't worry, it is totally normal with art related stuffs, but I think the word "good" isn't appropiate in this case. You can not like the miniature but it doesn't mean it isn't good. We can't create miniatures for the taste of everybody, sometimes you like the miniature and sometimes not, this is how life works! Thanks a lot for your support <3

Very Nice. Perhaps... a mounted version... on one of your past Blood Knight horses.... ;)
very nice - does this mean we can expect more balkan inspired stuff? Matyas Corvanus and the black Army, Walachian Calarasi, not to mention ottomans would all be great
Haiducs! :)
Oh wow! That is an awesome sculpt! Love the version without the helmet!
thank you very much Will! Glad you like it :D
Very nice indeed!!!
Fantastic! You really spoil us these days you two! :D
PS. While its really awesome that he is so obviously based on Vlad the Impaler, its almost even better that this makes him resemble Nandor the Relentless :D
