August Patreon Exclusive: Otto von Schrute - Download link
Happy weekend guys!
Hope you’re all good. This week we haven't had time to get bored! We have been doing the printing tests and taking some photos for all the units from this August Release, which we'll upload soon in our Facebook page, and working on more miniatures to come!
But today we have to make a small announcement.
The Loyalty Rewards have been a very beautiful stage, in which we hope to have met your expectations. As you probably know, every patron who hits three or six months supporting us here get access to these special miniatures by sending us a message: the Green Knight (3) and the Lady of the Lake (6). These Loyalty Rewards will be available in the future too, along with a one year Loyalty Reward we would love to do. But we've decided to not continue doing these "monthly schedule basis" Loyalty Rewards in the future.
From now on, instead of anxiously waiting to meet the month to be able to have that miniature, every one or two months we will make a special miniature only available in Patreon that can be obtained by ALL the patrons that will be with us that month, without exception. So, more patrons can enjoy the miniature!
We're going to call this new system: Patreon Exclusives. So, as we have mentioned before, these Patreon Exclusives are going to be monthly or bi-monthly miniatures only available in Patreon, for every patron and only available that month to reward you all for your support.
That's why today we can present you Otto von Schrute, the first Patreon Exclusive miniature. This long shooter of the Empire of Sun is not just any miniature; he comes from high birth, a noble and well-known aristocrat; he is one of the men with the most bravery and aim that you can find in the lands of the Emperor of Sun. This miniature comes with two poses, one shotting and the other one resting.

Just asking the "pack" - is it just my settings, or is Otto a 32mm Miniature (from Ground to the eye). My slicer doesn't support meassuring anymore and I am unsure if I did it right in Blender...
Hi Alexander! Yes, Otto is in 32mm heroic scale, as well as the rest of the miniatuers. All our miniatures are in 32mm heroic scale :)

Absolutely love your style! I have a large Warhammer Empire army, built when 7th edition was around. Your models make me want to go back and expand that army. Now I am a patron, I wíll go back and add to my Stirlanders! Thank you!

Do you think an extra exclusive mini will incentivise people to become patreon? By making it exclusive, aren't you cutting a win-win off of you being able to make money through MMF and other people getting excess to those minis? Patreon is already way cheaper than buying in singles later on, so there is already enough incentive imo. If I want Sunland units I will become patreon no matter an exclusive or not. If I want them and didn't become a patreon, I probably just missed it and not because there was not also an exclusive mini. Just not a big fan of making things exclusive personally.
If it's a replacement for the loyalty miniatures, it's more a "fidelity reward" than an "incentive". Of course the better accessibility to that reward make it an incentive for som to get that a month from time to time to get the minis but I'm not sure it's the prime goal. An added bonus for the highlanders if it works. Are the Green Knight and Lady of the Lake available on MMF ? If not we're on the same kind of reward. Even if later new sculpts of those minis are available on MMF. But that's a good questoin : is the time spent on sculpting an exclusive as a reward worth the fact it won't be sold later ?
Lovely sculpt, I especially like the standing pose, and nice of you to change le loyalty to exclusive. And it reminds me : how do you get the green knight and lady of the lake ?

I think there is a way of doing it, both Titan forge and printyourmonsters have "shared" free models to my account. Edit, just had a look through the myminifactory inbox and they have "invited me to redeem" if thats any help
Nice! Does the patreon exclusive mean we can only access it through patreon (no MMF) or that it will exclusively be distributed to those who were patreons?
Thank you! At the moment it will be distributed only through Patreon. We're trying to figure out a way to distribute a file through MMF but without being in the public store. As soon as we discover how to do it, we'll send them too through MMF only to the supporters who where patrons that month :)
