May Release Update: First Grail Knights!
Hi guys!! 鈿旓笍
Hope you're having a great week! Today as we always do before the month finishes ... we wanted to show you what's coming for the next May Release, which is... the GRAIL KNIGHTS UNIT!! (okay, no surprise here, it was the second winner from the poll)
We really enjoyed making the poses for this release, we wanted them to be unique and dynamic, and also make the knight and the horse be one. We have spent sooo many hours working on the horses, the clothes and everything... Now, we only see horses, horses everywhere. 馃槀
As you can see in the pictures, here you have three of the five core knights for the grail knights unit, and the six horses we've made for the unit, five for the core unit and one for the captain. Also, the heads are going to be modular, and we'll include some simple helmets and some of the previous heads from the april release to be able to "recreate" a crusader cavalry look.
As you already know, this is going to be the last but not least! release for the Medieval Kingdom for a while, so we tried to create a beautiful release to put the cherry on the cake to this season. We remember the first cavalry unit we made in August 2020 and looking at this one now we can really feel the improvement and the learning through this jurney.
We read you as always鉂わ笍

i love em! do you have anyplans for branching out into a wood elf army? How about Dark and High Elfs ??
Hello. Can you tell please is it something like loyality reward for more then 1 month of patronship?
Hi Koraxs! At the moment we have a three and six monthly loyalty reward! :)
These. Are. Insane.
Whats coming in the future if we're takinga a vacation from fantasy?
Hi Jeff! We'll continue doing fantasy! We only are going to change to another two armies. You can read more about it here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/47202940 :)
The horses look fantastic. I also really like the plain robes. I personally hope that you do t add to much extra details to them because I love them as they are!
Boom! Long waiited Grail knights and youu sure deliver, these are GREAT!
As a Bretonnian player I really appreciate medieval stuff and this is high quality medieval stuff. It would be nice if you could add, in the near future, some cavalry with swords and also crusader archers.
These guys look amazing! Just wondering if we'll see any more grail iconography? Cheers
OMG! I love them!!!! These are fantastic. They look great and are also created without falling prey to over-detailing and fiddly parts. I think it鈥檚 an important part of creating gaming figs to not overdo the design. A lot of current artists aren鈥檛 great at this but I think your stuff is ideal. Very impressed as always
I agree! As a merchant I sometimes drop patreons just because of the fiddly parts. You go crazy when the same part keeps snapping off during cleaning - and the model is not even for yourself! xD
As always they are stunning. I am really looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Thank you Phil! We really hope you like the next season, can't wait for you to see it!
Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong but if you'll be going away from Medieval era theme focused sets I'll likely be cancelling subscription after that time as that is what led me to sign up for this Patreon.
I believe a while back they stated they would be changing what factions/armies to cover after completing their run of Brettonian and Undead themed sets. Around a year ago they started out their journey with Knights facing skeletons and at this point there isn't really anywhere else to go for these two factions. https://www.patreon.com/posts/future-of-please-47202940 There was a post a few months back talking about the upcoming season 2 of their work though I don't believe we've heard what factions we will be looking at next.
Look great!)
They look fabulous! I鈥檒l be upgrading to merchant tier please dm me when ready! Thanks
Holy (no pun intended) crap they're BEAUTIFUL 馃槏
Got to say these look amazing!
