Savages of the North

A new set of Norse Tribes miniatures is coming this November 2026 to Highlands Miniatures, more savage than ever!

The November 2026 set of miniatures will be composed by:

• 3x Norse Werewolves

• 1x Norse Werewolf mid transformation.

• 6x Norse Wolves.

• 7x Norse Berserkers

• 3x Norse Berserkers Command Group

Norse Werewolves

These are not generic fantasy Werewolves dropped into a Norse army. They are Norse Raiders that went wrong.

That meant the sculpts had to carry evidence of who they used to be

You’ll notice little hints of their former human selves: human-like hands, patches of exposed skin where the fur hasn’t come out yet... And details used across the rest of the range: the hanging belt straps with their iron rings, the chainmail skirting, the tattered wraps and the braided hair.

The standout model is the one caught mid-change. He stands upright, head thrown back, jaws open in a howl and his hands are at his own chest, tearing his skin open from the inside to let the fur out.

It is a direct and affectionate homage to the transformation from Van Helsing.

We spent more time designing these miniatures that we thought as they were certainly hard to conceptualize, but we think they perfecetly fit the Norse Tribes and reflect the design story we really wanted to tell.

The Norse Werewolves are designed over a 50x50mm square base.
