Amazing work!
I hate to ask this because I genuinely think this months releases have been the best you've done since I was a patreon of yours, but is there any chance of a re-work to make the tassles on the howdah top separate like they are on the bottom of the elephant blanket? 5 hours of printing can be easily wasted if just one snaps off whilst removing the supports, and although you can argue i should be more careful it then has to survive post once I have sent it out to my customers. If separate I can even print a few extra spares for people in case of accidents at home.
Hi Kevin! In fact, we would like to make some modifications to the howda as of today it can only be printed at 100% scale in big printers, as it doesn't fit smaller printers. That requires to split the piece in half somehow. We are still trying to figure it out and eventually we will update it, including the separation of the tassles, that also requires some new geometry as the current one doesn't allow separation -no surface to create clean cuts and pins- like the one in the elephant body. Unfortunately we may have to way a couple of months -probably in late May or early June- as we are going to be quite busy these next couple of months!
These are wonderful Thank you. Already getting to work on supporting and slicing, however can I check something regarding the Lamassu. There is only the left wing in the unsupported STLS. Is this because a mirror will do or is the right one missing?
Thank you for the kind words Kevin! Regarding your question, we updated the files this morning to include also the right wing to avoid confusion, but yes, only a mirror is required to obtain the right wing from the left wing as they are the same geometry, only on opposite sides! :)
Wow! You guys have outdone yourselves with that elephant.
Thank you for the support!!
What a wonderful final!!!!!! Need to warm up my printer after winter to start printing a full new army! Can’t wait for it!!
Thank you for the support Alexis, glad you like the miniatures!
