Fantasy Fillers and Markers

UPDATE

This Frontier is on hold until further notice. We expect to continue with the development of this Frontier in late 2026.

Great news! A new Frontier is on the way to Highlands Miniatures.

A limited set of Fantasy Fillers and Objective Markers for your favourite Highlands Miniatures fantasy miniatures:

• The Basic Content of the Frontier will include five (5) new incredible ‘Baggage Train’ Fillers: themed dioramas for the available fantasy races in this Frontier.

• For the Milestones you will find a big selection of ‘Objective Markers’ for the available fantasy races in this Frontier.

We are limiting this Frontier to our five (5) core fantasy races: Sunland, Gallia, Sons of Ymir, Transilvanya and Orcs and Goblins. If there is enough interest in the community, we may create a second Frontier in the future to cover more fantasy races.

Stay tuned for more information and don't forget to Get Notified when the campaign launches by clicking on the pre-campaign page!

You will also receive a brand new Free Miniature. Do not miss the chance to get it!

Baggage Train

In historical warfare, the Baggage Train was the line of wagons, mules, and followers that trailed behind the army, carrying everything needed to survive.

For us, these are themed Fillers distinct and unique to each fantasy race available in this Frontier. They could be anything, not just chariots: from an orc encampment to a destroyed and haunted cemetery. There will be one (1) Filler for each fantasy race available in this Frontier.

All these Fillers will be created for a 100x60mm square base.

In the following example you can already see the Filler for Sunland, one of the fantasy races available in this Frontier.

Objective Marker

Objective Markers are small-scale dioramas designed to represent key strategic points on the battlefield. They fit on standard objective-size bases but offer verticality and narrative depth. They could be anything, from ancient dwarf stones to old reliquaries.

There will be four (4) Objective Markers for each fantasy race available in this Frontier, unlockable through the Milestones.

All Objective Markers will be created for a 40mm round base.

In the following example you can already see one Objective Marker for Sunland, one of the fantasy races available in this Frontier.
