Welcome to Deathburgh, a land where life is eternal and sanity… Well, that left the building many years ago. The promise of immortality has turned to punishment and only chaos remains. 

Here in Deathburgh, death is the easy way out—too bad it's not an option. Dying is a myth, a bedtime story, a long-forgotten luxury. Eternal life sounded charming until everyone actually had to experience it.

What Exactly is Happening in Deathburgh?

In Deathburgh, it’s all about surviving in the strangest ways possible, gathering resources, and holding grudges that are hundreds of years overdue.

But Deathburgh isn't only about survival, it's about making it through the day with your limbs (mostly) intact and maybe a glimmer of hope for eternal rest.

But who, exactly, might you be running into here? 

Meet the Bands!

The Loyal and Most Honourable Captaincy of the Grand City of Deathburgh

The eyes and ears of Deathburgh, nothing happens in the city without their knowing (or so they think). They believe they are the glue and fist of the city of Deathburgh. 

The Captaincy is deeply invested in the health and wealth of Deathburgh’s finest citizens. In fact, any deviation from the thousand decrees and rules can only be corrected by the purifying flames—yes, nothing says obey like fire! 

With their torches blazing and gleaming weapons, they patrol the streets ensuring that every citizen follows the rules. 

These guards, with their overinflated sense of importance, are more than willing to set entire districts ablaze if it serves their cause. 

Caution: these Captaincy dogs shoot first and ask questions later. Behave yourself in public!

The Royal Rotten Society of the Underground city of Deathbrugh

Welcome to la crème de la crème of the underground! 

Deep beneath the crumbling cobblestones of Deathburgh, where the light of day fears to tread, lies the true royalty. 

Banished long ago to the depths of the earth and forced to a life of endless toxic misery, generations of mutations and sickness -and something else- have forged a new breed of altered humans. 

These misfits now devote themselves to deeds of the nastiest variety, swearing allegiance to a shadowy society of chaos-makers who roam the murky edges of Deathburgh. 

The Rotten Society isn’t hiding anymore—they’re preparing. And Deathburgh? Oh, it’s about to get a lot messier.

And Your Part in All This?

Simple! Take a deep breath -assuming your lungs still work-, and prepare to pick a side. 

Will you be part of the Captaincy, joining the ranks of law and order, or perhaps embrace the underground toxic revolution of the Rotten Society? 

In this darkly humorous -and yes, unfair- world, you’ll find resources to gather, grudges to settle, and some oddly charming characters who just want to make their eternal mark. 

We invite you to help shape the fate (and misfortune) of this wretched little land.

It's been a long year since we announced for the first time our intention to develop the first Highlands Miniatures tabletop game and now we are finally on track to develop it.
