December 2024 Preview: Aegean Elves vol. 3
A second set of elite infantry Aegean Elves miniatures is set to arrive this December 2024 to Highlands Miniatures.
For this last month of the year we continue with the development of our newest fantasy race, the Aegean Elves, bringing you new elite infantry and cavarly miniatures to complete your army.
This time, a new hero Aegean Elf miniature is on the way to led your Aegean Elf fantasy army! ✨
The December 2024 set of miniatures will be composed of:
7x Nemean Lions
3x Nemean Lions Command Group
1x Nemean Lions Chariot
2x Nemean Lions Chariot Crew
5x Aegean Elves Mounted Dragons
3x Aegean Elves Mounted Dragons Command Group
4x Aegean Elves Mounted Dragons Horses
1x Aegean Elf Mounted Lord
In today's publication we will take a first look at the Nemean Lions and the Nemean Lions Chariot. The main inspiration for these miniatures comes from the Ancient Greek hoplite armour. We have tried to balance the right amount of dynamism with the need to rank in closed formation and it's been quite difficult, to be honest!
As many of you know, we are not really a fan of sculpting creatures, animals or monsters, so we've tried our best to keep those elements under our control. Nevertheless, these Aegean Elves come with a decent amount of fur and the chariot is pulled by two fearless lions!
As always, these Aegean Elves come with modular heads.
The Nemean Lions Chariot is designed over a 100x50mm square base.

Even though I’m more a dwarf fan these pointy ear fellas look nice
Any chance you might do a cavalry unit of Namean Lions mounted on lions?
That would be a nice addition for the future Alastair!
I'm getting tired of saying "Amazing!" every month. sigh...."Amazing!"
Thank you very much for the support! 🔥🔥
These look amazing!!!! 😍
Will there be alternative heads like with the Swords of Massara?
Hi Kevin! There will be more heads down the road, including the remaining heads for this December 2024 set of miniatures. All of them are suitable for these miniatures!
Is the hero holding his helmet designed so you can choose from alternate helmet types?
Hi Joey! Sadly no, the hero miniature from the Nemean Lions Chariot comes as a single piece.
Soooo excited
Glad you like them John!!

Glad you like them Marco!!
Yes!!!! These are stunning, gonna swap the helmets but great addition. Sad no dragon but great reason to have a elf filler campaign lol
Glad you like them Craig! Unfortunately we won't see a dragon in the near future, we already struggle with tiny animals!
