November 2024 Preview: Aegean Elves vol. 2

The first set of elite infantry Aegean Elves miniatures are set to arrive this November 2024 to Highlands Miniatures.

This month is not only about Halloween. Along the coming weeks we will continue with the development of one of our new fantasy race, the Aegean Elves, with new elite infantry miniatures and an incredible chariot.

We will also discover the first hero for this fantasy race, an Aegean Elve Mage! ✨

The November 2024 set of miniatures will be composed of:

  • 8x Mycenaean Guard

  • 3x Mycenaean Guard Command Group

  • 7x Swords of Messara

  • 3x Swords of Messara Command Group

  • 1x Aegean Elf Chariot

  • 2x Aegean Elf Chariot Crew

  • 1x Aegean Elf Mage

In today's publication we take a first look at the Mycenaean Guard, our favourite Aegean Elves with polearms.

We've had a blast sculpting this fantasy unit. We hope you guys like it as much as we do!

The Mycenaean Guard comes with modular head.

i really like them and cant wait to print them. The only sugestion i have is that the champion pose looks a little weird the way he hold the halberd. In the way he stands(at ease) it would make more sense when the halberd would be on the ground with its end. At the moment it looks loke the wrong arm was glued to the wrong body

I am little unsure about those exposed upper arms, with legs being fully encased in plate. Is it too late to add some sort of plating to arms and elbows also?

Well looky there... the Mycenaean Guard are actually wearing what looks like heavy armor. I couldn't always tell the difference on some of the GW models. This looks like a very promising release.

I swear I was going to sculpt this style of Phoenix Guard. I guess I dont need to make those sculpts anymore! Fantastic! I am not surprised, I was expecting you all to make such awesome minis. After the Dwarves aesthetics, and the Gallia Kingdom style, I am so looking forward to these minis and the rest of the range! As I said earlier on, I need to start gluing and painting my High Elves!

I would prefer the Guard with a longer skirt. To make it look like an armored Robe and some small patches with scales at the shoulders like the leader has or the Cavalry from before.

I love the wings on the helms! Any chance we could get those without any crest on the helm? Maybe with the short helm from last month? Or at least just the wings as a bit pretty please? :)

Hi Anthony! Sure, we will include one more helmet with just the wings!

Love it! Pheonix guard were visually my favorite unit back in the day (I know gameplay it was always better to get swordmasters). The elite infantry units from the high elves were always so awesome and iconic.
