I wish we were close enough to like be able to drop off freezer meals or pitch in. (while respecting privacy and boundaries etc) I just know when my baby was born if someone had come by and done a couple loads of laundry or some dishes or something that would have been massive help!! And we all love Jessica and I wish I could offer that kind of support (again, while respecting privacy and boundaries haha) Anyway, we're all rooting you on!! I hope the 3 of you are having a magical time getting to know one another!! Enjoy every baby coo and cuddle, and know there is a whole community wishing Baby Boogaloo all the Best this world has to offer!
Hyper fixation suggestion. YouTube channel called "Cinema Therapy". The two men have ADHD, they are hilarious, and I cannot get off of it. Almost as good as Jessica's!
Jess, I hope you replay this video when you're feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. I feel like those first two weeks of having a new baby are the most difficult (even for a second or third baby!) -- you're learning how to parent overall, learning how to parent your child -- and that's as basic as learning their cues for hungry, tired, or whether it's time for a diaper change. Not to mention how to nurse, pump, remembering different breastfeeding positions... And eventually, resting your tired body and brain. Please know that if you're trying, you're a good parent -- and ignore anxiety brain if it tries to say anything negative!! 💗💗
