Thank you for your reply. I understand, but my customer service oriented brain would suggest that you negotiate contracts like this in the future to include your paying. Patreon members, too. Yes, would be very interested in seeing a Dani collab. Have had her book for several years.

I own a copy of your hardback cover book. Supported you. I am highly disappointed that I cannot join this event. Think you should explain your reasoning to those of us have supported you. Why should a new person get something different? Your response will factor into whether I continue providing money to you. Did you think we wouldn’t notice?
The publisher set up this event, which I can influence to some degree but don't fully control. That said, if enough people are interested, I can talk to Dani about doing one for the community that she and I control and can offer to our communities for free!
