My team and I have figured out what we’re thinking of restructuring the patreon tiers to!
Yes. We figured this out the day before it’s supposed to go live. If that doesn’t scream ADHD I don’t know what does!

We’ve narrowed it down to four tiers (to help with choice overwhelm):
$5 — Brain Bud
For Brains who want to belong <3
This tier is about connection, not perfection.
You’ll get:
Access to our private Discord community
A space to share wins, struggles, and tools with people who get it
Monthly discussion prompts from the team
This is a peer-supported space. While the How to ADHD team may pop in occasionally, this tier isn’t about direct access — it’s about not doing ADHD alone.
$15 — SUPER Brain
For Brains whose lives are better because of these videos 🎬
You love the content. You’d love for us to be able to afford to keep making the content! You do not love ads.
You’ll get:
Ad-free versions of How to ADHD videos
Behind-the-scenes content
Occasional bonus cuts
Same videos. Same schedule. Just easier on your brain. Super.
$30 — Wonder Brain
For Brains who want help getting up to speed 📘
We’ve made a lot of videos. This tier helps you know where to start.*
You’ll get:
Curated Learning Paths that organize our existing videos by topic
Printable toolkits and summaries
Quarterly (?) prerecorded (?) workshops focused on core ADHD challenges
Space to connect and swap knowledge with other curious, wondering, wandering Brains
No overwhelm. No homework. Just a clearer path through the information.
*This is a brand new tier that we’re really excited about, and just beginning to create content for – your support now will help us do just that! Plus, you’ll get to weigh in on what would be most helpful for you! New content will be posted as we hear what you need — and develop it.
$100 — Brain Advocate
For Brains and Hearts who want to support this work at a deeper level 💛
This tier is about impact.
You’ll get:
Everything from all other tiers
Your name (optional) at the end of every video we produce while you support our work
The knowledge that you are supporting free access to high-quality, evidence-based, empowering ADHD content for Brains and Hearts all over the world
This tier does not include extra access — it helps keep How to ADHD accessible to millions of Brains who need it. Thank you SO much <3

This is what we’re thinking! We’d love to hear any thoughts, concerns, and opinions as soon as you can (no matter if you're a free or paid member)! We’re hoping to update the tiers either sometime tomorrow or the day after pending how fast we can get feedback!

Where does that leave us financially strapped folks, are we no longer patrons?

Oh I really wish that the Curated Learning Paths would be available at a lower tier because navigating a large catalog is really overwhelming for me but I’m also a freelance worker who doesn’t always have the same income month-to-month and won’t be able to contribute regularly enough 😢
Thank you for that feedback! That tier is going to be our heaviest "lift" in terms of time & energy creating content for it so we do need to have it at a higher price point to be able to deliver those perks, but we decided to drop it from $30 to $25 to make it more accessible PLUS we're looking into ways to make it accessible to those who need it & still can't afford it. Appreciate the input!!
I didn't even know that there was a Discord Community that went with the group and now that I know that, how do I get to it? And, I guess before I d/l the Discord Community, my question would be, is it even active enough to warrant the trouble of d/l it. Thanks.

My feedback is that $15 is a *lot* to ask for early video access. I'm a Patreon subscriber to five other YouTube creators and literally all of them offer that perk at $5 or lower.
Thank you for the feedback! We dropped it down from $15 to $10 and will look into to other ways to make it feel more "worth it" :)
I'm on a limited income, myself, and I had joined 4 other patreon groups. It has been 6 or 7 years for some of you when I joined, so I can't move up. (and I'm too old, anyway.) ❤️🧠
I hope you can get subscribers at $100/month but that's a lot for a Patreon subscription imo. I feel like I'd rather pay $30 a month for myself and two others that can't afford it than pay $100 to see my name at the end of a video.
That's a good point... we already do have lots of ppl donating at the $100 tier but it definitely isn't for everyone, it's for people who have more $$ than time to use toward advocacy. And that tier does support lots of people having access who otherwise wouldn't have it. Though I love your idea of gifting the "learning" tier to others, I wonder if people might do that?
Why would Brain Buds not have extra access or at least early previews of videos? Does this level of access assume that they just want the community but can catch up on videos via YouTube?
Love all this, but is there any chance the curated learning paths will be available for lower tiers as well? That could be a good general thing to share
ooo... might be a cool idea to have like, an ADHD 101 learning path at least? Of the basics? And then more curated paths available on the wonder brains tier? hm....

Will there be an upgrade pathway for legacy Brains to the new Super Brains or Wonder Brains (& higher) levels?
It will be the same as changing tiers normally! :) just compare tiers before making the move or if you need help comparing let my team know and they will try to help!

Prices listed are based on per month. That was a great question!

Not for new patrons — until we figure out what it will look like. For existing patrons refer to the brain board specific update. :)
