Love that you shot outdoors. As you mentioned, it injects a bit of novelty into the video, just like the video you did with the fairy character. I hope you got a chance to soak up plenty of sunlight; spending time in nature floods the brain with dopamine. I’ve never been camping, though. I prefer to spend the day hiking and come home to a shower and a proper bed. Open shelving made it much easier for me to put laundry away as opposed to using regular drawers.
LOVED THE VIDEO WITH CASS! And loved this overview. I'm sending to my daughter who is going back to college and promising she'll talk half as much this year! YOU'RE THE BEST! Keep it up!
Lie: you have to maintain a picturesque clean house at all times. I’d argue you just need a functionally clean house. Whatever helps you to function is the level of clean needed. Anything beyond that is chasing someone else’s standard that doesn’t help you. The hard part is when the people you live with have differing definitions of what functional means.
When I am working on organizing by myself, I just have two categories, keep or release. I set the release pile in a spot that I return to on another day to identify their new homes. To me, it goes faster and I get less overwhelmed if I separate the questions of “do I want to keep this” from “what would be the best new home for this.” And that way, if the answer is posting in a free group, I can do it right away during the release day project. And sort day is just sorting.
