Comic Delay- severe power outage
So… the transformer on in our neighborhood exploded. I have no power and I’m posting this from my phone relying on my cell service 😅
Thing is, the comic pages need to be finished on my desktop using photoshop, which relies on my outlets. The next page may come on a delay by a couple days. Apologies!
I’ll be using this time to work on what I can, which is traditional media pieces for MFF and anything I can do on my iPad til the power runs out on that guy too. I’ll be alright though! The biggest bummer is losing refrigerated items and slowly getting cooked under the sun without the ac. I’m keeping everything closed though to make it all last as long as I can!
Normally I don’t do this, but I’m gonna have to order a meal or two and replace the groceries that will expire from lack of refrigeration. If you wanna drop me a dollar, here’s my Kofi 🖤

EDIT: new info- the transformer blew up underground, so the fire department is here investigating it 😥

Had this happen to me on Monday. Sad thing is, I'm underground power. It went out at 4:30pm, the hottest time of the day, and ETR was 2:30am. I'm like, "Nope!". Packed and overnight bag and went to a hotel. Get somewhere cool and stay safe! As I'm sure we'll all agree, even though we may be antsy, I'd rather a short delay compared to a long one!
It's been over 100° up here in Oregon, I can't imagine how much worse it is down in Cali. Stay safe. I don't know if they have community cooling centers down there like they do up here but use them if you need them 🥰 🥵
