I'm sure that when she closed her eyes for the last time, she knew deep in her heart that you are a magnificent being and that she could rest well, knowing that she did all she had to do; which is, to raise a most magnificent being. Things are looking like grim now, and no, I'm not going to pretend, there's going to be this painful streak of gray in your life forever on. But that's how things go... My condolences, Jackaloo. I've lost both my parents, and have been there for friends who have lost theirs. My mother was the referee and my father was the enforcer. But, I can say that I never received any punishment that I didn't deserve and I'm a better man for it. The one thing I wish I could have changed is that I wish I would have told them that I were gay. It was always, no, not today, maybe tomorrow. Time doesn't heal all wounds, like they say, but it does allow you to be able process the pain, and loved ones being gone better, a little more each time. It took me about 2 years before I were able to stop crawling in a whole somewhere to cry. Now, I still cry on occasion, but I'm able to do it in the comfort of my own home and only for brief moments, not hours or days at a time. If there is anything you need, please, let us know. I doubt any of us are professionals, but it truly does help to talk about things, when you are ready. Your artwork has helped me many times and I would like to return the favor. We love you Jackaloo and while we wait with baited breath for each page, we want what is best for your. Take your time and grieve my friend.
