Bad News
Hey Fans,
I recently tested positive for Covid. I would have made this post sooner but I misread the test yesterday. I've been writhing in pain for days, hopped up on acetaminophen and sleeping a lot.
I've been so damn careful. I've practically been living in a fortress of solitude, rarely leaving my house. I invited my cousin and his mom over to visit, and they brought Covid with them. Lady Luck just gave me the finger.
I don't know how long this is going to last. I feel a little better already, but that could be all the drugs I'm on. Theraflu is a homerun for times like these. Hopefully I can jump back into work in a day or two. I'm so close to finishing this release.
I'm truly sorry to all my supporters that I wasn't more careful. This may only be a few day setback if we're lucky. The release might happen late this month instead of middle of this month. I'm generally an extremely healthy person so I might get over this quickly.
I appreciate your understanding, and thank you for all your support.

Just make sure not to push yourself while recovering, that's a good way to get long covid symptoms.
No you just being trendy catching covid. I have it also and the worst part is the cough. My remedy is theraflu, some lemon juice, tablespoon of honey and a shot of Jack Daniels mixed and then drank warm. Then hit the bed. I usually feel better the next day.

If you sequestered yourself like that all you did was delay the inevitable. It made its way through our family too. We treated it like a bad cold and it passed. Luckily my immune system laughs at colds and flues. Vick's vapo rub was our friend and made it easier to breathe. After that plenty of fluids and rest. Hope it passes quickly.
I'd say you're right. It probably was inevitable I'd get it eventually. I'll try the Vicks if I have any trouble breathing. Symptoms have mostly been extreme fatigue, inability to regulate my body temp, and body aches. A hot shower and Tylenol have been saving graces.
Hey Lockheart, sorry to hear you got the bug. It sucks. But shit happens and you have no control over that. Sure I'm excited for the next release, but I want you to be healthy and happy prior to worrying about me. Rest up and hopefully when this is behind you, you'll have gained a natural immunity from future infections! Best of speed and get well soon!
Thank you, Mangetsu! I'm sure I'll be back on my feet in no time. Covid has been rather mild for a lot of people lately. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones. Here's hoping!
