Progress Report | 07/06/2026
Progress on Suzi's Part 3 was stunted by some factors that I'm going to go through with you all. I've got Suzi's sexy part set up and planned out, and Moon's sexy part is pretty well iron out as well but I haven't gotten any real progress made on them yet.
Here's what's going on. I started a Steam Page for a game called A Flower Gently Plucked. It follows a young woman named Blossom who is spending a weekend away at a cabin with the Main Character. It will be a PG-13 Visual Novel. I spent the first three days of last week setting up all the artwork and submitted the page for review by Steam. As soon as it's live, I'll give all of you the link so you can go wishlist it.
If you don't understand what I'm doing here, don't even worry about it. All that you lovely people need to know is that it would help me out tremendously if you wishlist this game when the page goes live. I want to keep creating content for you all. I have to navigate a growingly sterilized arena in order to do that. If you want my stories to continue, please lend me your support with a simple wishlist for these upcoming PG-13 titles.
This will apply to all new releases for Steam. The Avalon Remaster, Over the Moon, and Quean Bee will all have PG-13 versions released to Steam. You'll be able to download a patch to revitalize the official content from a website that is currently being built. Or you can just get the official versions from Patreon directly, as well as SubscribeStar.
That's what my time is going to be dedicated to for at least the rest of the year. I want to get Over the Moon complete for all of you, I want to get the first few release of the Avalon Remastered out to all of you, and I want to release A Flower Gently Plucked on Steam by the beginning of next year. Following that, we'll be looking forward to Avalon Remastered (The PG-13 version) released on Steam, Over the Moon (The PG-13 version) released on Steam, and the continuation of Quean Bee and The Judas Ghost some time next year. This is the roadmap.
Its stupid. It sucks that I have to put in all this effort. But I have to keep generating the funding to keep a roof over my head in order to keep making this content and Steam is where all the funding is. I can't risk another banned project so we're sanitizing everything for Steam and keeping the evil degenerate filth elsewhere.
I hope you're all not too angry with me. I hate this more than you do, I promise. It wastes my time, it wastes my willpower, its taxing on my mental health. It is the worst. But it allows me to continue and that's my ultimate goal here. Hopefully we'll be back to a healthy release schedule next year.
Let me know in the comments how you all feel about this. You can complain or call me names or anything you want to do. I fully understand. I cherish the opportunity you've all given me to write these stories and I'm going to do everything in my power to continue to bring all of you more content.

Do you need donations? Trust me I’m pissed about the changes to steams policy especially with how many crappy visual novels are on it when yours are amazing(I’ve read the first two of the Rose garden trilogy) but I’m willing to help if I can
It means a lot to me that you're eager to support me. Sincerely. We're at a point now where we're looking more towards scale and reach. A massive audience each contributing a little will be more than enough to launch my endeavors forward. The problem isn't so much support from my loyal fans on Patreon and SubscribeStar. The problem is much more the gatekeepers that are preventing me from accessing a larger pool of potential fans. The best thing everyone here can do for me is to help me bore into that larger audience. A wishlist on Steam, a post on Discord to my Steam page, or finding a way to push back against censorship. People want my work. They're willing to pay a few dollars for it. I just have to get to them. That's what my main issue has been for a while now. When itch kicked me off their platform and Steam banned A Petal Among Thorns, my business collapsed. I've been living off savings for the last several years. The sanitized versions of my works is my Hail Mary. If I can get a piece of that Steam pie, put some games on GoG, get a few on EpicGames, and maybe re-enter the itch market, I should be more than fine after that. Thank you for your support, who, what, why?, and I love to hear you're enjoying my work.
I like that you keep doing it, despite this BS and hypocrisy of this commercial scumbags. And I don’t even think of kicking your butt for the PG downgrade you have to do on steam or whatever, to get yourself a roof over your head and some food on the table. I personally don’t use steam, but i keep supporting your work here, no matter what!
Thank you, Dean. If the Steam releases go well, I'll be able to expand my company and bring even better games to you guys. So here's hoping it goes well. I'd love to hire on new people and make even more impressive AVNs.
I would prefer if the adult content could be added as free 18+ DLC uncensor patches on Steam. It would at least be worth a try to get that through the Steam review. I'm worried that secret and hard to find manual patches will lead to bad user reviews and lost sales.
I have the same concerns. Unfortunately SFW versions of my work are the only safe way to get them onto Steam. Adult content is increasingly risky and I simply can't afford to have another game banned. I'll make it as easy as possible to get restore the true content.

I appreciate your understand, Ruben. It is unfortunate how often developers get shamed for censoring their work but the sad truth is we simply have no choice.
you won't get any negativity from me, sir..i love your work, and have ever since i discovered avalon way back when...i'm glad that you're doing what you need to do to keep it going. i'm good as long as i can get the game as it was meant to be here, and i'll gladly give the steam page(s) a like...it is sad that you are forced to do this is the first place.

The censorship is ridiculous, but you are doing the best you can. I will do what I can to help you continue your stories. You are an amazing writer. Even without the *S scenes, the stories are great, and that's what makes your work. I would read either way.

Don't know if this has struck your mind, but if there was to be made a "unoficcial" website or patch or something, you could restore the old content of APAT with the choices and look you had in the first builds :) So to make everything PG coooooould actually give you more creative freedom in your projects in stead of restricting them?
It could certainly give me some extra freedom. For sure. I'm still in the early stages of all this so I'm ironing out the details. We'll have to see how it shakes out in a few months. Good thought though. Thank you, Rex.
I'll list anything you post to steam. I understand what your doing, do what you have to do. If your not making a living then you can't make games. I use patreon/subscribe star to do what I do. If not for the money there I couldn't do what I do. But I would still pay for your stories, because there that good.

I'll gladly help you out. The "sanitization" of the gaming community is an attempt by the religious conservatives who control the payment companies to make the world over in their image. I'll support you in everything I can. If you can mange to make PG-13 games without puking, there's nothing illegal or even immoral about it. They'll just be rather boring games. You do need to make a living, after all.
They'll be much shorter games utilizing the images I've already made. It won't be like making entirely new Visual Novels but it will take away some time that I wish could be spent on the work we all actually want. I appreciate the support. You know the Lockverse faithful will do what's needed and won't ever be negative. I certainly don't mind buying on steam as well as supporting on patreon and I'm sure many others agree with me
