Mod Hound & PlumbBuddy app

Dear all,

I finally found time to add my mods to Mod Hound created by Lumpinou and to get them manifested within PlumbBuddy app as well.

Together with this action I plan to add all my missing mods on Patreon - I mean the one that I created before launching Patreon and they are only posted on my Wix site. It doesn't mean I close my Wix site, but I want to have it more organized.

So please don't be surprised I add old mods to Patreon :D

As last step I'll see what mods are missing from CurseForge, with the exception for mods:

  • not allowed there as rating is above teen appropriate according to their rules (e.g. Vampire Slayer)

  • not created originally by me, as I simply feel I should not

I hope I'll close this small project till end of September :) The ultimate goal is to make it easier to check updates for my mods :)

And to think... you're indirectly partly responsible for PlumbBuddy even existing. If you didn't let me do modding apprentice work under you with your Healer career, I might never have gone down the road that led me to creating it with BlackCherry, Meg, Amethyst Lilac, and Helen the Hunter. You are my Polish muse.

Thank you for your kind words, and I am terribly sorry I didn't start using it earlier. I really love it. I am still not sure how manifesting works though. I manifested 1 mod and it created this file and now I don't know what I should do with this file? Attach it to the mod, so people should download it also? Or just keep it within my files, but the app is also keeping it and comparing for users?

Thank you for doing this! I love Mod Hound and use it, but not a lot of creators are there unfortunately. I tried using PlumbBuddy app and I like the idea of it, but tbh I don't like the app itself. It's a little too in your face for me. I also had troubles with uninstalling it, so I don't want to try it again because of that.

I understand. I love the idea but with so many things going on in my live on daily basis I made 3 attempts to understand how the app works :) Also the idea behind these platforms to keep mods status in one place is great, but in the end for a modder it means to keep updates in more places. I plan to actually change my site Mods Status with the redirection to Mod Hound, so I don't have to keep updates in so many places. Eventually maybe I'll also won't place change log and also make redirection to the site. This would be a great reduction of work for me, but I need to observe how it works for some time and then decide what I can replace or remove :)

So awesome, I love plumbuddy and modhound. So happy when more of the creators I follow are on it.

Great news! I'm using mod hound and it will be so convenient to see new updates just in one place! Thanks a lot!
