McLeod Ganj, up in the Tibetan Himalaya.
Spinning the prayer wheels was the most ASMR thing on this whole trip — that deep metal rumble, one wheel after another, all the way down the wall. I went back three times just for the sound. 🎧
Prayer flags in every direction, a tiny shrine hidden in the forest, monastery steps still warm from the sun.
I sat there a long time and didn't film a single second. Sometimes you just stay.

mcleodgunj is not tibet! the refugees have been allotted refugee camps-townships all over India.. there is atleast one in south india too... mcleod gunj is a colonial summer hill station like dalhousie etc and the present state of himachal pradesh and uttarakhand have nothing to do with tibet...
