Hot, Hotter, Shutdown!
Hey everyone,
quick bad news from the hot front. My PC decided today it would rather work as a space heater than a render machine, and just shuts down with every single task. So all model work has to move to next week unfortunately.
I know this sucks for those of you waiting eagerly on commissions, and I am truly sorry to stretch your patience like this. Sometimes tech just has other plans than we do, and forces an unwanted mini break on us.
Good news though: New hardware is arriving within the next 24 hours. Once that is installed, the output will be burning again instead of the processor.
I hope you can feel me.
You are the best!

Curious, what new hardware are you getting?
Its totally cool, fans true fans will will wait forever how long it will take, just worry about your pc and and take care of whatever needs to be done. Sorry this unfortunate thing has happened to you, but what matters is your getting yourself back on top. I wish you the best of luck and hope everything works out for the best. We will wait no matter how long it takes, true fans here. Your content is just amazing as you.
The worst case for a creator is an unstable PC or no more good ideas for looks. Wish you the best for a non expansive solution.
That is a fire logo, no pun intended.... Glad everything works out!
Hoping for the best. Hate to hear this!
Could be a fan issue or possibly a simple Thermal compound reapplication. Good luck whatever it may be!
I tested all the options over the weekend, and my AI and I couldn't come to a clear conclusion as to why these shutdowns are happening – the simplest solution would be if it's just the power supply that's no longer providing enough power ... the worst case scenario would be a faulty graphics card (gulp) ... I had to reorder all possible components so I could find the culprit ... I'll know more on Monday!
