Hey Everyone! 👋
I hope you’re doing fantastic. Presenting the newest addition to the Gecko collection: Flexi Day Gecko, a print-in-place design.
I was initially working on another dog design, but after the St. Bernard, I felt printing another dog right away might be a bit repetitive. So I decided to make this cute little gecko first before releasing the next dog design.
I hope you’ll enjoy printing this adorable Day Gecko! I’d love to see your print results with different color combinations. Since the patterns are separate elements, you can easily delete them and paint your own version. Pretty cool, right? 🎨🦎
Feel free to share your print results on Discord or in the Patreon group chat.
📦 Package Includes
• ArtFlex_Day_Gecko
• ArtFlex_Day_Gecko_KeyChain
• ArtFlex_Day_Gecko_Magnet_6x3mm
You’re welcome to add magnet or StrawBuddy holes in the STL files according to your scale requirements. The 3MF file already includes a negative slot for magnets. If you scale the model, simply adjust the negative slot to match your magnet size.
Below are the recommended settings:
No need for supports!
Aim for a layer height between 0.16mm - 0.18mm
Stick to 3 walls
Shoot for a 15% infill (Gyroid)
Downscale from 100% to 80%
Filaments I used: eSUN PLA+ for all colors
Note: The included 3MF files come preloaded with my custom print profile and arranged objects for the best multicolor results.
For optimal quality, I highly recommend printing from these 3MF files.
If you’re using a slicer other than Bambu Studio and facing issues or errors after importing a 3MF file, Check out this workaround 👈
It helps import 3MF files cleanly into other slicers without unwanted errors.
This method works great in Anycubic and Creality Slicer, and I hope it works just as well for your slicer too!Happy 3D Printing! 🛠️🎨
