Flexi SeaHorse (Archived)
Hey everyone! 🧡
The wait is over—our Flexi Sea Horse is finally ready and available to download from the June Designs Post! 🐴🌊
This one was such a blast to design and print! You’ll get two versions: the fun, classic toony style and a detailed version with added textures and a matching head for that extra flair.
🔹 Tip: For keychains, it's best to scale down to 80%, as the full-size version might be a bit too big. And don’t forget to use a brim when printing the smaller version to keep it stable!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The design is split into parts due to the seahorse’s unique proportions, so you’ll need to assemble it after printing. Don’t worry—it’s super easy! With a little twist and some gentle pressure, the pieces snap-fit together nicely.
🔹 Tip: I’ve added a small arrow on the middle joint to guide you—just align it with the upper body piece and snap in that direction for the perfect fit!
Hope you all enjoy this adorable sea buddy—can’t wait to hear what you think! 💬😊

Is there a difference in file names from the "fixed" version? My fins keep snapping on insertion, even at 100% infill/10 walls setting. I am using matte filament, which I know isn't as strong, but figured I'd check. I downloaded right around the 13th but not sure on names.
Nevermind! I just downloaded from MMF again and found the horizontal fin!
Sorry to bug you, but I was wondering which file I should use for the Seahorse? One says fixed and the other isn't. What are the different between the two? Thanks again for all your amazing prints!!!:)
Hey, use the fixed one; it's got stronger sockets where the fins connect, plus extra horizontal fins.
Love these! I have five of the individual sea horses on my P1S now… be back in 30 hours. lol
That's Great! Looking forward to seeing the final prints 😍
