You know, both the funniest and saddest thing here would be, that the critters wasn't coming to EAT Elias, but to play with him. The teeth resembled more like killer whales or bottle nosed dolphins, and not all sharks are interested in eating humans. Heck, some are even downright playful.
Elias should be first to know not all scary things want to eat him.
With how casually the fire clan handles nudity I'm surprised they wear swim wear.... but it does look fantastic on her.

Holy hell the contrast here makes it so warm. 10/10 I would sunbathe the fuck out of here. Also love the detail on how it's catching wind in the wings to learn to fly. That's quite a clever point. Elias can learn magical runes that make it easier to survive and fight back while playing the part of bait. I'm sure he makes good bait for Flare too. Time to cook up some fucking fantastic fish meat. Let none go to waste.

Poor Elias. He just can't catch a break in this world full of powerful beings if Flare isn't around, can he?
Are you sure? I suspect there are secrets about both Elias and his dad, that just might make Elias a bit more formidable than anyone suspects... Not to mention that I think Elias' dad may have been part fiend part human, and that Elias' mom may have been a dark dragon. A lot of the background info would tend to support this take.

Honestly being tossed off a cliff into water sounds like one of the least dangerous dragon activities thus far.
This and even if you can not fly yet you can use the wings to slow your decent
I like how casual Flare was about having easily killed that predator fish which was about to eat Elias. Shows the sheer difference in power between our main duo as something that could easily gobble up Elias is just lunch to Flare.
When Flare gets the long-tail chimera shark out the water, my brain went "Bye Elias. Hope you find your dad."
