I think everyone is worrying too much about Elias interfering. He's got to know Flare's honor is at stake so wouldn't jeopardize that. If anything, Burn is going to go overboard with his display of fire and put Elias in danger. Elias likely has someway to shield himself from the flames and heat. In the commotion, Flare will likely lose sight of Elias, though, and gods help Burn.

Actions scenes ARE fun. I love to write them a lot. This has been a joy so far.

I hope no one sees what he's doing and assumes he's gonna cheat on her behalf.

I'm betting it's some kind of rune-crafted fire extinguisher... time to put out Burn's flame.

I would laugh so hard if he trapped him in the porta pet cube.

So I surmise that the goal is to encircle your opponent in fire. Ground combat is about distraction and can only be done in social form, while breath attacks only in feral. The number of wing beats allowed is limited while in feral, but you may glide as long as you can. If you touch down you have to resume social form. Encircling flame can be a combination of yours and your opponent, as long as it encloses a space completely and unbroken. You can only cross flame in feral form, leveraging your feral form above your opponent to keep them grounded. Touching or being singed is an immediate loss. How close am I?

I feel like people with a foot kink will like the first few panels of this page a lot. Probably because I have a bit of that, hehe.
