Awesome work on these pages. It seems like things are going well for everyone except Elias. I understand how he feels in wanting to know the truth. I'm surprised he would disobey flares directive to not go down there but maybe his answers truly do lie down there. Let's just hope nothing bad happens. Or flare is going to wake up when she notices his presence is not next to her. Can't wait to see what happens

Loved this chapter!!! I wonder if Elias will ask Rage how dragons court. Like, I wonder if it will be similar to how humans try to or if there are specific ways to basically claim the other as their "flame" as her ex put it. Would be cute to see.

Yeah most of the "mature" dragons seem to be special blends of arrogant jags. Elae Venusae (R. I. Pieces) said it best that long lived races lose things in their old age.
Looks to me Elias tried to make some sort of aether absorbing device, but in that one panel it's almost like a failed attempt at a pokeball-like object, and Imp was spat out of it 🤣
I was thinking that device was for either: A. Absorbing aether so he doesn't channel it and one day shed his skin in a scene fit for a David Cronenberg film, or B. Blood homing to find his Dad, which probably doesn't like his half-veiled physiology. I can't think of another reason why Savrotas would be a deadline unless it involved keeping himself from ever going Full Demon Mode or learning if his dad is alive. (But yes that does look like a pokeball, or a failed Ghostbusters trap, used on poor Imp. 😂)
Not going to lie, I laught my ass off at the vid call. Was not expecting a magical zoom call. Elias really seems miserable not knowing the answer. Of course Flare being over protective so... I'm not shocked he's going behind her back. It was bound to happen eventually. Yap not shocked just sad...
Definitely no foreseeable negative consequences whatsoever. Nope. None.
Oh, I never thought or saw someone else comment that Elias may try asking the Fiend if he originally was a half demon with a human form like he is and how he came to be if that's the case, but that's actually quite expected of him to do now that I think about it.
