I suspect that Flare and Elias won't be replaced, as they seem to be rather competent, but I wouldn't be surprised if a second dragon gets assigned there so Elias and Flare can train as a team. (Can't really train and have adventures stuck in a cave all the time...

Yes what was they taking? looks a bit like salt and pepperboxs, more likely some rune stuff as Elias had to show his skill.

It's a good thing Luminiel met Elias at Flares lair. If she's able to sense the "stench" of fiends she would probably be able to detect it from Elias if it wasn't getting covered up by the aether fiend.
A good point, the imp also give some cover so having it as a pet could be smart just for that.

Definitely not the last time we will see her. But I wonder what Rage is hunting?
Probably just any animal for some meat, mostly as an excuse to get away from Flare after pillow hoard. But also something who will make her more happy would be nice.
Personally, I will miss her, but oh well XP I also like how flare and the chitters are having their own little moment in the background 😂
