I'm glad she admitted that Elias fixed it.
Hm, I think Flare could have made herself seem slightly better if she'd told Lumeniel that they had to detach the stone to repair it, and she was occupied keeping the fiend at bay.

I'm relieved that Flare admitted right away it wasn't her who fixed it. Usually when a character is in a situation like that, they try to keep up the facade for as long as they can, leading to them making the situation worse when they have to show off what someone else did for them.
That's just love for you. Plus Flare is smart, she know not to lie about things like this. Also being straight forward seems like a normal thing for red dragons, or at least her clan in general.
