To be fair, she probably can't get very far on foot. Not to mention she's on an island that's being patroled by a water dragon and there's no where for her to run thanks to the matrion's ability to sense things through the tree. Best she can do is kill him and then go down swinging.

The lack of Flare hanging out on the end text is actually kinda unsettling. Similar but different feeling to when she shredded it and flew off.
