small (big? maybe medium) update
Hello, chat! Dang, it's been a while since I did an update post here, so this update is gunna be a long one lmao. I put a TL;DR in the end if you just wanna skip all the yap, XD.
First things first, I want to deeply thank all of my patrons--without your support, I would not have been able to do this full time, let alone making three doujinshis back to back. Thank you so, so much!
Now, in regards to my content here:
Lingerie model rewards
Now, I must apologize first--I usually post one new lingerie art every month, like clockwork. But I might need to skip it for the month of October. Between taking care of Comifuro 23's goods, taking care of the printing of the Bloodraven doujinshi manuscript, and the upcoming Holoctober, there's just a lot to do this month. I hope that's okay T.T... The lingerie model rewards will return on November though, so don't worry!
(Doujinshi sneak peek preview will still be happening on October as well, so don't worry about that one XD)
Speaking of which, the poll on which V-tuber to be drawn as lingerie models the other day yielded quite an interesting result. I genuinely expected the other members' variant costume to gain significant amount of vote--and they did! But for the most part a lot of people wants to see graduates as lingerie models too--almost twice as much.
As most of you know already though, algorithm is truly a cruel mistress T.T... If I don't chase on what's popular or trendy right now, that post is just not gonna go well. The ID members as lingerie models, for example, didn't do that well on Twitter. And I sort of rely on social media algorithm to get influx of patrons.
That said, chasing trends can be... tiring. And heck, I genuinely just want to draw the graduates, algorithm be damned. But I sadly gotta play the social media game if I want to keep surviving.
So I'm thinking of doing both--drawing both the new/existing members and the graduates as lingerie models, alternating with each other! Hyakuto Kyoko is one who REALLY piqued my interest when it comes to the new gen--expect her as a lingerie model soon-ish!
Now, speaking of algorithm being eeeevil...
New reward plan: straight up gooner seggs illustration set
I'm thinking of having a new kind of reward every month, or at least two months. No existing reward will change, mind you--scheduling wise, you'd still get a new lingerie model every month and at least four pages of sneak peek on the current doujinshi I'm working on.
But I can kinda feel the change in algorithm and reach these days, and I think I need to change things up a bit. That's one reason why I wanna try adding a new monthly/bi-monthly reward. Gooner art is kinda a cheat code in that (I think) it's just a great value as far as rewards go.
Well, the other reason is because I just want to draw straight up gooner art.
Tasteful ones, mind you! I want to still add my aesthetic value to the illustrations. But gooner art nonetheless XD.
But yeah, I want to try just drawing seggs illustration as a reward... both because I want to and I think I kinda need to.
Ok, that was even WAY longer than I expected, lmao. But TL;DR:
The lingerie models going forward are going to be a mix between the new Holo gen, the variant costume of the existing ones, and the graduates.
Due to workload, I'm gonna need to skip October for the lingerie model reward--sorry! The next lingerie model reward will be posted on the next month, November.
I want to draw straight up (tasteful) gooner seggs illustration. Gonna figure the deets out in the coming months, but expect the new reward monthly/bimonthly!
