Am I the only one not hearing much difference? I can clearly hear distortion when cranking input but if I dont want it to distort like that (mostly on the transients) and want some warm pre-amp sound, how do I use this and is this even the tool for that?

This or TUBA on the mix output. It's a pinch of fairy dust that makes such a difference. 🤌

The vst3 version of this one is solid. However, the vst2 version keeps crashing Wavelab for me.

Just tested this. Very impressive.

Honestly using this on my DI guitar signal I cannot hear any difference cranking the voltage gain all the way up. Either its very very subtle or the VST3 is broken for me (Win10/Reaper)

You're a madman dude. Would you consider modelling the the EL8 Distressor? We need a good free version!

I'm sooo curious how this gem will sound! Just one question: There is a V76-setting on Prebox, is this similar or significantly different? I'm asking because the REDD preamps had been modified V76-preamps.
