*Resizing Tip: When you duplicate plug-in, it will remember current state of GUI size. But if you load new instance, it will be opened at default size. To get rid of this issue, simply follow these steps;
1. Open plug-in for the first time
2. Resize GUI according to your screen resolution or you liking before setting any knobs
3. Save this state as default preset with your DAW
Now, you will be able to load new instances with same size.
(If you want to go default size, simply double click to resize handle.)

Nails most of the frequencies. Insofar as there are differences there is nowhere I considered the plug-in “worse”, just different. Just like with AO Trident 80B plug-in - there were some freqs where the character was somewhat different but sometime I preferred plug-in. There were certain pros and cons to both…

I needed a 550. Checked all the fancy plugin folks- they got em for a few hundred bucks. But I didn't know AO already had a great version available. Got my 550 plugin, back to work, and I didn't have to dig out my already heavy credit cards. *That's* why I am a Patreon supporter of Analog Obsession and don't subscribe to PA or Waves. I really like Merica. Open, in-your-face, punchy, but pleasant. I have to say that while the sound is great and I somehow prefer this EQ over others for quick and broad shaping, the control of the frequencies is a bit awkward in terms of mouse control. Now the control changes no matter which direction I pull the mouse. I'd much prefer it to go with the direction of the mouse and also react to clicks on or near the labeled frequencies. This would speed up the workflow very much. Addition of peaking filters for high and low bands would of course be great. I would also humbly suggest not sticking too strictly to the analog interface, which is in many respects hampered by hardware limitations. Why not add on/off switches for each band? This is what most analog emulation equalizers are missing and it's such a handy feature. Imho these two features would make this into a possibly supreme A style EQ. Thank you! EDIT: A simple solution for band ON/OFF would be CTRL+Click on the knob. Then the kknob could either turn opaque or some symbol could appear on the knob. Please, if you can, implement this. Imho it's really beneficial for the workflow.

Hi, urgent little problem here with the new MERICA update. Plugin settings are not recalled properly when opening sessions that used the preceding version. Using Cubase Pro 11 on Windows 10 x64 here.
It has no backward compatibility if you overwrite old one. Thanks
These are awesome! I really like the functionality and sound of the MERICA. A bit difficult to see if the 'IN' button is on or off on the COMBOX but otherwise, really cool!
Hey thanks for the great plugins! I saw someone suggest a ssl fusion... I second that and also wanted to suggest a api 2500 compressor. Would be a great addition to all of our collection!
