I was able to purchase 12.1 with a one-time fee before it was released to public, so is that possible with 13? I don't remember where I was able to do that, though, so I couldn't check.
Unfortunately, it seems like itch.io isn't going anywhere with payment processors. If I accept payments on itch, the game gets shadowbanned. So right now, the only way to access the latest updates like 0.13 is through a Patreon or SubscribeStar subscription.
