0.13 - Update Status
Hello everybody!
Here are the new numbers for this update: 2220 renders, 82 animations and ~51,000 words.
(There are some older renders in this post, because the last 319 are all Kayla😅)
I'm currently back to writing, because I've completed every render and animation I could with the script that I had. I think everyone knows at this point that I'm a slow writer! My dialogue and scene quality have improved a lot compared to earlier builds, but for some reason, I’m only really creative late at night, when everything is quiet and no one can distract me. It's probably my environment, and college doesn't help either with my daily life. Hopefully that changes by next winter, depending on how things go with the game.
About those 319 Kayla renders: yes, it's just another buildup scene. As most of you know, she's the emotional and romantic focus of 0.13. And considering the last Update Status comments, that payoff scene with her is definitely the next step! I’m very grateful for the support and for how aligned the majority seems to be on wanting this update to end on a strong note🫶
I still wish 0.13 could be ready earlier, but after everything so far, and knowing what most people are waiting for, I just have to keep going. The first real, proper lewd scene of the game needs to feel earned. The current ones are more 'casual' and short... this one will be on a whole other level👀
To get there faster, I might need to cut down content with other characters. This won't break anything, but towards the end, it may feel more like a "Date Kayla Simulator" . This would only be temporary, until I add more content later. I hope that’s understandable!

The goal is to avoid relying on other platforms, because this setup allows for basically unlimited free bandwidth, which means no more throttled downloads. I can also upload builds a lot faster, and it keeps access/traffic limited to paid members, which are nice bonuses. If you’re interested in testing it, especially if you’re on SubscribeStar, please DM me, since I haven’t fully tested every tier yet.

Is there a release date set? all the work is great, but i'm starting to forget what the game is about it's been so long since I played it haha
I avoid giving release dates in advance, because I was wrong too many times😅 There will only be an exact date one week prior the actual release. This way, expectations stay realistic and it reduces the pressure on me.
Let’s go bro, I’m so happy to see it advance so far, honestly just keep going, like when you think it’s the right time to post it, do it, if not, do not, we love that you really want to make a great game and not just a rush cash grab, if we are still here, it’s cause we believe in it Every time I get an update I’m really happy and I’m so glad that everything is going smoothly Keep moving forward !🫶
I wonder if what has been done previously (particularly the prologue) will be revised to add content? If so, I think you should focus more on the new chapters. Please note that this is not a criticism; I love this game. However, I don't think a revised prologue and 0.12 should be a priority right now, but maybe later if you plan to do so. :) ;)
I understand your concern, I've been asked something similar on Discord. The point of the remake is not only to update the graphics and dialogue, but rather fix and expand the earlier story. Here's what I said on Discord: "There will be many added scenes/context/character backstories. Right now, you’re kind of just getting dropped into a new family without much reason. There will also be an option to spend time with Claire (and maybe one of her friends, as a hook?) before leaving home. That way, she will have plenty of screentime before we meet her again. I'm also planning to expand the first hangout with Kayla and Chloe, as well as the first party at Riley's to spend more time with Anna. " I believe a remake is necessary for the game's success. I already have the foundation, so it won't take anywhere as long as 0.13!
how many lewd scenes will be in new update?
Technically 4, but 2 of them are a bit short. There multiple other scenes with nudity/eye candy, as always :D
