[0.13] Preview
I did a lot of writing/tweaking/polishing recently, so I'm back to rendering this week!
A few days ago, I also ran a poll asking whether I should complete Chapter I with 0.13 or split it in half... because everything has turned out to be much bigger than I originally expected. To give you some perspective, if I do split it, there will still be 2–3+ hours of gameplay!
Interestingly, ~75% of supporters voted in favor of getting the full update. If I go that route, I have no idea how many more months it might take to finish 0.13, especially since I keep getting new ideas along the way. On the other hand, if I end this update at an acceptable moment (right after a lewd scene), I could potentially release it within 1–2 months.
I'll reconsider these options when I reach that "final" scene, because I honestly didn't expect these results, considering the amount of people asking when 0.13 will be released!

I think the people who voted for a full release are really asking that the release not be rushed because you feel the need to appease a certain crowd. All I ask is that you release it when you think it is ready, and not because you feel pressured :) I'm super excited to see what you have cooking behind the scenes!
2-3 hours of gameplay is pretty good. And if the choice is between 1-2 months vs 6-10 months (just pulling random numbers) then 1-2 is definitely better. I do agree with the basic concept of "release it when you feel it's ready", but I would mainly apply that to a scenario of "don't release it if you don't feel good about it yet". If the scenario is more of a "hey this is good stuff, and it could be released as an update right now, but it's not quite the end of the chapter yet" then that's not really such a big deal.
Release when YOU decide its ready for release. Too many people want too many different things. At the end of the day, this is your story, you're work... we're just here for the ride
You definitely want to think about all the new ideas you get and maybe set them aside for a later update. It's better to release an update with what you have than keep delaying it because you want to keep adding
