0.13 - Progress report #3

Hello everybody!

The last few days have been my most productive of the month, so I wanted to take a moment to update you on how development is going.

As some of you already know, I ran into some frustrating PC issues thanks to the latest Nvidia drivers. They caused an infinite black screen whenever I restarted, and when I tried to fix it, my Windows installation ended up corrupted. Fortunately, I managed to back up my backups just in time, so all the crucial files (like the 50GB worth of Unity and Blender environments) were saved. In the end, I had to reinstall Windows (along with everything that comes with it), which set me back a bit, but thankfully, I didn’t lose any real progress. Honestly, it was probably overdue anyway... my PC had been extremely unstable since April, with constant hard freezes and random crashes during render work that had already cost me a lot of valuable time.

Anyway... you’ve probably heard this too by now, but yes, this upcoming update is going to be much bigger than 0.12. My goal was to wrap up Chapter I with this release. However, I don’t want to make everyone wait too long. As it stands, the update is already twice the size of 0.12... and I’m still very far from done with Chapter I. If I continue without splitting it, it could easily end up 4–5+ times bigger.

To help decide how to move forward, I’ll post a poll soon. I’m curious whether you’d prefer to wait for the full update (a few more months of waiting) or get it in parts (1-2 months of wait max). The plan currently includes two full lewd scenes, and if I do split it, I'll make sure the first release will still end with one of them. (Hint: it’s with Kayla 😏)

As for the content itself, expect to learn more about new and existing characters, their personal struggles, and their dynamics with the MC. There will be plenty of sexy moments, of course, and some progress on the main story, including new theories and characters trying to figure out what the hell happened to Vincent. That said, the heart of the update is all about spending time with the girls... and yes, a first 'date' with Kayla is coming! That scene isn’t written yet, but I plan for it to be one of the longest parts of the release.

That said, I truly appreciate your patience, and let me tell you something: the wait will be absolutely worth it.
