After a night and reflection
After the demotivation of what happened in the last 24 hours, I want to thank all of you who have shown support in your comments. It's for people like you that I make my mods. Thank you very much.
Many people don't understand why my mods are "restricted," but one of the reasons, which I've explained several times, is the best way for me to provide support when there are errors or difficulties on your part in understanding how the mods work, and even when someone reports a problem.
The person who shared all my mods for FS25 didn't realize that they shared mods that currently don't work fully due to the game's limitations. As I've already had the opportunity to say, I'm working on a complex mod that will overcome these limitations. Because it's a complex mod that will cause some problems for those who don't understand how it works, I created a private Discord channel just for Patreon members, so I don't risk supporting people who accessed my mods through the publicly available file.
Therefore, I ask all Patrons that when they join my Discord channel, they contact me and indicate the username used on Patreon so I can grant them access to the private channel.
Certainly, in the coming days I will be inundated with people complaining that my mods don't work, so this is a way for me to filter who gained access to the mods via Patreon or through leaks.
In one of the supportive comments, someone mentioned that a way to restrict access to Patreon was to increase the tier. Yes, I have already received several messages from the Patreon administration that I have a very low tier, but the idea is that "everyone" has access to my mods, even if in a restricted way. If I increase the tier, many players who like my mods may be unable to access them. We cannot forget that US$1 in the States or in Europe is not much, but for example, in countries like Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, etc., it can be difficult to pay that amount. We must always remember that not everyone has the same purchasing power.
In short, this platform isn't for me to get rich, and although it's restricted only to those who are genuinely interested in my mods, I don't want to restrict it only to those who can pay high prices.
I like and feel good about how it's worked so far, and I think most of you like it too.
Probably the person who made my mods available is angry with me for some reason. From time to time, someone appears who thinks I have some duty/obligation towards them, and when that idea is thwarted, the way they show their displeasure is by having these attitudes, not to mention that they are often offensive and rude.
Thank you all, and don't forget that if you are a Discord user, you should contact me so I can give you access to a private channel for better support. Those who don't use Discord can and should continue to use the Patreon communication channels, which I respond to whenever possible.
Thank you again.
