So excited for this one! Andor is one of the best television shows I've ever seen. Also a fantastic entry point for new Star Wars fans
What is the schedule release for ole Andor ? lol Great show.
Maple was that a Path of Exile reference? 馃槀馃槶I was half expecting you to call it the temple of chaos next 馃槀
I'm going to be honest I have no idea what that is so no :/
One of them white guys is Jamie Tart's dad from Ted Lasso.
Love Andor! Can't wait to watch this.
We're going straight in? No Rogue One? That's a choice. I feel like everything hits way harder when you watch it as intended. I can't imagine the ending to Andor having any impact or poignancy if you don't know what happened, where as Rogue One kinda stands on its own.
Andor has been noted to be a great starting point for watching Star Wars because it tells a grounded story without needing background knowledge!
Cassian's friend that helps with his alibi also plays Ser 'Bold' Jon Roxton in HOTD, hes the Knight that beats the fuck out of Daemon in the S3 finale.
FINALLY!!!!
you guys watch the best stuff.
I'm sooooooo jealous that she gets to get into Star wars here at the Andor s1 e1.
Guys thank you so much!! This was the bestest news I've heard all day and next to seeing Falina in automotive sporting tight jeans and pigtails; the best part of my day. 馃憦
Alright, I'm gonna need more than 1 episode a week post-Free video, because there's never enough of either y'all, or this show!
FO FWEE?? 馃ス
Just when I thought there wasn't anything else I was interested in left yall REEL me back in. HYPED for the Andor reactions.
I know its free, but I still subscribed for Andor.
Thank you Mark!
Also, fun fact, Mr "Keep your feet off my desk" was in Game of Thrones.
Excellent - Enjoy!!!
Hopefully this jump starts Maple into a Star Wars reaction run because honestly Andor > Rogue One > Episodes 4 & 5 > Episodes 1-3 > Obi-Wan the Patterson Cut (movie not the show) > Episode 6 > the Mandalorian (series with Pedro) is the god-tier way of introducing someone to Star Wars. Don't at me.
See I could feel that Pedro was somewhere lol
Just popping in to ask.. could y'all possibly watch Steel Magnolias in honor of Dolly? It's a great movie and has a stacked cast and it would do GREAT on YT. Particularly the sooner the better.
5 BBY means 5 years Before the Battle of Yavin. The Battle of Yavin is the climatic finale of the original film (Star Wars: A New Hope from 1977). There's no single calendar in the Star Wars universe so dates tend to be told in relation to the events of that movie. For example, this is 5 BBY but the second movie, The Empire Strikes Back, is 3 ABY (After the battle of yavin). It's not hugely important but if you continue watching Star Wars stuff it'll help with the timeline. English accents in Star Wars usually denote that someone is Empire or Empire adjacent in some way (in the actual organization, from one of their main worlds, etc). It's basically the Imperial accent. It started with the original film where the Empire had a large British cast due to filming in the UK. It's not a rule or anything, but it's usually just something along those lines. Some games and stuff will actually play with this a bit. An imperial officer adopting an american accent when undercover and stuff along those lines.
So stoked to rewatch this again. Really wish you鈥檇 do the arcs of 3 all at once. But I鈥檒l take Andor any way I can get it.
Oh hells yeah! I have needed Maples reaction to this in my life for so long hahaha
YESYESYES....FUCKYES!!! I am all in!
The yard worker with the beard, played Jamie Tart's father in Ted Lasso...
Possibly the best piece of Star Wars media since the original trilogy back in the 70s/early 80s and just overall a great piece of sci-fi.
hot take, or maybe its not, its better than the OG trilogy by a mile, and thats no shade to the OG trilogy.
I gasped so hard when I saw the notification I had a coughing fit XD I hope you enjoy the series as much as I did
the dude didn't die from an ultra-headbut! if you go back and watch the encounter again you will see that when Cassian grabs the blaster of one of the security dudes, the weapon discharges twice, the second time resulting in a ricochet off the nearby wall. it's the ricochet that kills him, not Cassians headbut.
This is the best day of my life!!! Such an amazing show, nothing like it
Let鈥檚 freaking go!!!
Genuinely such a goated series. Excited for the journey
You guys said this was coming soon but i didnt think it would be this soon! Im pumped!
Yeah boyee
You guys really should watch Rogue One after you finish this show
Im kinda glad they're watching presumably in this order. Everyone always gets instructed to watch in release order, which is understandable, it's also how I watched it, but its a little bit more of a unique experience to see someone watch it in chronological order without the knowledge you'd have if you start with Rogue One.
I'm not sure if it matters, but BBY 5 was establishing the year. BBY means Before the Battle of Yavin, which is the fight at the end of Episode IV: A New Hope (The first of the original movies).
Andor is amazing!
Holy shit yall are on a roll!! Watching so much peak at once. Hell yeah
