are these 2 nurses they know a lot of medical stuff
Arianna worked in the healthcare field and Maple was in school previously for biochem and pharmaceuticals which is nursing adjacent!
Maples mentions almost dying a few times, and as a medical professional, I am quite curious about whether she has ever talked about it. If she hasn't and doesn't want to share, I completely understand. My wife almost died during COVID, and because of COVID. She had to be put in a medically induced coma. Anyways just curiosity.
First I really hope your wife is okay now. That has to be a lot to recover from that is not an easy thing to come back from at all COVID is just horrible I am so sorry to hear this! I can relate as well I had 2 people pass during COVID due to horrible respiratory complications! I am so sorry! I have not really talked about it, I guess I could share but I worry my story in full could prevent people from getting an operation that could improve their health overall because it is only like a 0.1% of surgeries resulting in this specific complication. I had to have my tonsils removed should have been pretty routine but they did not cauterize my throat properly leading to Post-Tonsillectomy Hemorrhage (PTH) which caused an internal hemorrhage of my carotid artery leading to extreme blood loss and I had to have a second additional life saving surgery and a whole bunch of other not so fun things within 24 hours of the first initial operation. Definitely has been a journey recovering it has been rough since but I do not regret getting it done as overall I am not sick constantly with colds or strep like stuff ect. as much anymore and I can smell and breathe!! So for anyone reading do what is best for you!! I just happened to hit on the not so good odds for that one... but maybe being chronically sick all the time... I already was not in the best shape going into the operation but it was the only chance I had at feeling better! Thank you for asking and wishing you and your wife well and that nothing like that ever happens again!
The defibrillator into the dream house is the GOAT television scene
The scene with Paulie visiting Tony is one of my favourite scenes in the series.
"Did you hear that Tone? they like my scenes, heh heh"
I love the detail of Paulie sitting at the kitchen table cutting out fucking coupons when, even after cutting the score up, he just swiped like 400k. He really has nothing left but his pride and his ego, the money doesn't even really matter for him, at this point it's just a MacGuffin for him to chase in his hopeless quest to find some meaning in whatever life he has left.
It's also funny how much he says that the bigger cut belongs to him because he did the work when this is the EXACT problem he had with Ralphie, only he was in the opposite end
I think Carmela does a great job playing aloof and being a hypocrite. She acts aloof to ignore the bloody source of her wealth, and she acts like a hypocrite by using "strict Catholic morals" to judge others while keeping her own tainted luxury life.
