yessss i love this show
It also cannot be understated how brilliant the music choices in this show are. Part of the reason this show has never been released to buy, at least in the UK, is because of the licensing costs.
This show eats so bad I鈥檓 seated queens
Forgot how perfect this show is
awesome. i love this show so much.
Yessss love this show! Can't wait for the early access for this and Dark!
It's funny to me how, no matter how many times you guys explain it in the description, there is always someone mad in the YouTube comments that there's no audio and they have to watch along with a copy of their own.
you see me

Hmmm, well the only show I'm watching now is Community...
I've never heard of this series, but I generally trust your judgment, so I'll dip my toe in and come back to the reactions if I enjoy it. First impressions, I just can't with the 30-year-old "teenagers". Pretty appropriate I suppose since it's set in the 90's when this practice used to be much more common but it just throws me off every time. Maybe it's something I'll get used to over the course of watching the series, but so far, pretty distracting. At times, Erin and Orla sound like they've been smoking 2 packs a day for the last 10 years. I like the setting, pretty unique, so should be good for some specific regional humour, I like what they're doing with it so far. I think originality is one of the most important things for me when starting any new series, so off to a good start there. I'm worried about the character of James and what they'll do with him comedy-wise. Seems like he's set up for some pretty lame and clich茅 effeminate-man jokes that could cross the line into tasteless. Guess I'll see. In this episode, his moments were fine, I suppose, if a bit predictable. I think so far, ol' Barristan Selmy here had some of the best lines imo. "I'll find some dirt on you yet boy, I have people working on it, "struck down in her prime" lmao.
The show is really good. I think over time you'll just see the characters and not the older actresses. I may be biased though, having grown up in the 90's I've been watching 30 year old's play teenagers most of my life.
Not sure if you caught it, but the Grandad is Barristan Selmy from Game of Thrones lmao. Talk about range
The girl who plays Michelle is almost identical to my ex girlfriend, and i mean identical, it makes this show really weird to watch, but its a great show, and the Northern Ireland troubles running parallel is a really powerful element
Surprise! This one wasn't on my radar at all-- good choice!!, its highly rated (It will be new to me too!!)
this is literally my comfort show! i am sooooo happy yall are watching this. it's comedy gold
I鈥檓 from Northern Ireland so I鈥檓 so excited to see how you guys react to this and how you decipher the accents!
between this and Dark i feel extremely catered to
That's how I felt with Righteous gemstones and White lotus going at the same time, but now I feel like I'm IN the Dark, lol
OMFG I am so happy you guys are watching this.
Truly one of the best comedies of the last 10 years. This is exciting
YES one of my favourite comfort shows, binged the entire thing.
If you enjoy this, I would recommend How to Get to Heaven from Belfast - a comedy thriller from the same writer that was released earlier this year. I would also heavily recommend We Are Lady Parts, a comedy about a British punk rock band named Lady Parts, which consists entirely of Muslim women. It's not got anything to do with Derry Girls, but has a similar sense of humour. It's criminally underrated.
We are Lady Parts is phenomenal. I can't believe so few people have seen it. I wish they had made more seasons.
Fuck. Yes. Best comedy of the last decade. No hyperbole. Can't wait to watch.
