Frieren 1x15-16 | Watch Along

Frieren is secretly an anime series about Wife Guys

Just binged all the episodes with you guys, I'm usually not a huge anime fan outside of some romance ones but wow I love this one. The coziness is like therapy, been very nice. Thank you!

When Kraft and Frieren were discussing whether the Goddess exists, Frieren expressed doubt, and Kraft responded with "Ah, you're still young. I used to think like that too." This is basically confirmed in this episode, because his statues are made of Stone, not Bronze like the ones of Himmel's Party. Kraft in the statue was wearing old armor like a Warrior. But the Kraft we met was a Monk, wearing the robes of the clergy. My pet theory is after Kraft's friend died, he took up his friend's clergy robes and his faith. But since Kraft can't use the magic of the Goddess so he can't be a Priest, he became a Monk instead, practicing martial arts and using hand to hand combat to defend himself instead of a weapon like a sword.
