lmao that intro
I really love this show and I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to it. It almost has this storybook/nursery rhyme feel to it; a wholesomeness.
Resubbed for this. Am definitely looking forward to season 4 of Invincible March 18th!
Yay! So excited to see yall watch this!!!
looks like the girls got a new studio and new headphones! Chad said "time for an upgrade!" :)
That was ALL them. they did great!
These episodes get pretty short, doubling up would be much appreciated! But yous do you!
Our editor wont get to this series until white lotus is completed!! So we are just getting ahead one at a time and enjoying the episodes as they are!
I gotta disagree about the reuse of the theme song because it's like Harry Potter's theme song, continued use makes it iconic and a decade+ later it brings back nostalgia. Changing it up kinda diminishes that effect.
I get that Athasin, but Ramin has shown for 15 years that he's not a 1 hit wonder: Rains of Castamere, Winds of Winter, Jenny of Oldstones, House Stark's theme, Power of Prophecy, etc., even the stuff from Westworld and other shows he's worked on, all of them prove that if you let him make new a new opening theme for this or HotD, then it would probably be just as iconic or at the very least as beautiful like all of those songs are.
I hope they don't find out who they're watching until they finish this season.
<3
So the actor who plays dunk, Peter Claffey, used to be a rugby player..so yes he is built like a thicc tree lol
you mean thicc as a castle wall lol
Thank you!
This is the best 6 episode series I've seen since Queen's Gambit(have the girls seen?) Rewatching is just as fun as the first time, if not more
I don't think they have seen Queen's Gambit but they should, I love that series
I don't really think it was a "shade shart" but it was certainly a statement ^^' a statement that this show is going to be very different to GoT or HotD. It's not an epic, massive fantasy tale, it's smaller, more grounded and yes, a bit crude. Also, a note on the format of the tourney, because I think the show doesn't really explain it well. This isn't a knock-out style tournament. There's 5 champions and other knights can challenge one of them, taking their place as champion if they win. That is what Raymun means when he asks Dunk "whose shield do you mean to strike", he's asking which of the champions Dunk means to challenge. There's not really a formal winner at the end, except for I suppose the 5 champions that are left after 3 days of jousting, but the prize money are the arms and horses (or their ransom) you win from the people you defeat.
I don't think it was meant in a completely genuine fuck GoT way, but it was absolutely meant to poke fun at it just a tiny bit, not just separate it. It achieves both. I mean he literally shits on the idea of reusing the epic/iconic theme.
Oh girl the struggle bus 🤭
