The 1st two episodes were released together - and after watching them - boy did I wish I has a reaction channel. This show got me right away. I was talking to everyone I could (friends and strangers) about what was going on. Cannot wait to hear your thoughts after each one - as some interesting question arise. On your watch day - I would put this early in the schedule as some episodes are not super dialogue heavy which could effect your enjoyment is you are tired. Enjoy.

Yet another show I've not seen and am watching for the first time with you! And oooo, this looks like it's gonna be a fun one. So far it's kind of "Misery" meets "The Last of Us" meets "Star Trek". Hell yeah, I'm amped for this series!

Such deep concepts in a fun watchable package. Vince doesn't miss

Helen had that red bruising around her eyes because of the head trauma when she fell. Unfortunately the blow to back of the head killed her.

Daymee · February 24, 2026

Oh wow, I had clocked that she fell and hit her head on sidewalk, but I didn't even consider that was why she died. Makes sense, I was wondering. Although, now I'm wondering why she fell, when other infected people stayed upright, but twitchy. Hmm, maybe it had to do with her looking at her phone, or hell I don't know, maybe she was just off balance. I'm on a first watch so I'm just spit-balling.

Davis Taffler was wearing a suit, so he gets to be president. Yeah, yall gonna have fun with this. Lots of philosophical concepts to mull over and discuss. And wasn't it nice we got to step outside and smoke a cigarette with Kim one more time.

This show starts so incredible, literal 10/10 1st episode, from the story, cinematography, acting and sound, it's all so well done. But in my opinion as the episodes go along the story kind of becomes a little silly. But hey every other thing that made the first episode so great is still there so it's for sure still a good show all together, I was just expecting a thriller show that would keep me on the edge of my seat but it's kind of a bait and switch and the show becomes sort of a weird comedy with the thriller expects dialed way down.

I agree, it's still a really great show, but has a different tone to what the first episode presents.

Rhea Seehorn is brilliant in this. That’s my incredible insight from episode 1. You’re welcome 🤣

Everyone has been begging for Pluribus for months. Chad must've been like "here guys damn" as he clicked the upload button

The laugh they busted out with when he said "and he was wearing a suit" is exactly why I love this show. The comedic acting is so unique in this and it is mostly the side characters that crack me up.

So, the hospital where the outbreak took place was actually USAMRIID (The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases), which is nominally the most secure place they could possibly have been doing that kind of research. Unfortunately, starting around the 2000s it was also repeatedly blasted for failing to maintain biosafety standards, and all research there was put on indefinite hold in August 2019, although limited work resumed in November of that same year. So we can't even really say the outbreak was particularly unrealistic.
