While the general says Eldians persecuted and slaughtered Marleyans first, it is very likely this history of 2,000 years has repeated itself many times. After all, we do know for a fact that the world was destroyed due to Eldians using an army of Titans. Doesn't that sound like Eren? In other words, it is impossible to know who persecuted who first. Because its an endless cycle.

I don't know if y'all have been following my commentary on the watch along but I absolutely love that at the beginning the intro/outro was just a filler part of the watch thru but now you both get into it, insane music from aot

I love Maple's comment that this feels like the Bad Ending Route of a video game with multiple storylines. I feel exactly what she means. It's that palpable regret, like, "couldn't this have gone another way, any other way, because I desperately wish that it had." I'm playing Hundred Line right now (a video game with 100 different endings) so that comment resonates extra hard, lol

Someone should give them the lyrics for the English translation of this part's ED. Would love to hear their thoughts on it

So the characters Daz and Samuel were friends with the gang. Samuel was saved by Sasha back in season 1 when the Colossal Titan appeared on the walls when Eren and the gang were cleaning cannons. Daz was rescued by Ymir in Season 2 when Historia, Daz and Ymir got caught in a blizzard.

It's good to see Annie's Titan again. The time spent in that ice block must have been good for her, her Titan looks much better drawn now.

There they are in Episode 25, sitting in the forest.

next episodes do something to me I never thought an anime could, somehow this show keeps finding more emotions to pull from me, even after the atrocities you see in previous eps.
