I’ve always wondered about the moment Tony decides to start shooting Pussy. It seems like he’s almost doing it as a way to end Pussy’s anxiety and suffering in the moment. But then again, since Tony is a sociopath, it is more likely that he is doing it out of anger at his own anxiety at having to see his best friend like this.

the supernatural actually exists inside the sopranos universe. it's all background stuff but it's deliberate and real.

I think it has also been implied that Tony suspects Pussy before. Those times when he's just staring at him, but then it's like he gets distracted by another thought. As if it's just too hard for him to follow the thought to its conclusion. I see it more as the dream kind of pushing him over the edge

I always thought the dream sequences make this episode so special-- its so creative!
