Band of Brothers 1x9 'Why We Fight' | Early Access
Technical Difficulties :/
Unfortunately we had a catastrophic audio issue and our Watch Along format is ruined for this episode. I did what I could to salvage the reaction after realizing that the gals mostly cried through it anyways, and it's not a great episode to do a re-run for so, here's the youtube edit early. Sorry for the misshap, and we've modified our system to make mistakes like this less likely in the future.

This error really robbed your channel of a great reaction episode. While you focused on what happened in the camp, you didn't touch on what easy company has seen and how this also would affect them in the future. These young kids witnessing such atrocities. The next episode, I can only hope you stay focused on the men of easy company. FyI , there was much that was in the book, that did not make it to this series. The writers thought a lot of what easy company went through would be too unbelievable for the audience so they left it out.
Aww, I was ready to have a good cry when I got home. I suppose I could watch the older one before this.
you can still watch this. it's just not quite as good as i hoped for productionwise but its mostly there
Damn. I was looking forward to this one—such an important episode.
The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William Shirer is an excellent book on this topic. Hitler and the Nazi party were populists who were voted into office on promises of making Germany great again and pulling the country out of a severe economic depression. They blamed all of Germany's ills on the jews. (gotta have a scapegoat) Sadly, this is was the result of all that racial hatred
No worries, things happen! Thanks for this!
"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." German Pastor Martin Niemöller, Concentration Camp Survivor. Nowadays, given the situation in the USA, in the Gaza Strip, and in China with the Uighurs, it is more important than ever. 'Never again' is now."
Shit happens, its all good. :)
