Michael Cera is in superbad, you guys should watch it, its supergood

It must be acknowledged that co-producer Ron Howard doing the narration is also pure comedy genius. Having a narrator was part of the plan at the beginning, but they hadn't hired anyone when it was time to air the pilot so Howard stepped in. It worked so well they stopped searching for anyone else. AD wasn't Cera's first acting job, but it was his first exposure to American audiences. Up until the last minute, the show had an alternative George Michael lined up because his work visa was tangled up in red tape. If I recall, they fudged the shooting dates on some scenes in the pilot so his appearance would be "legal."
for 2 people who "claim" to dislike incest, it does come up alot on this channel?!?!?!?! :/

I know 50 people will say this, but the "Next Time..." bits at the end are just more of the episode, not actual spoilers. :D So glad you guys are watching this, it's one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.
Every single joke in this show is intentional and it builds layers and layers of comedy in a way no other show does aside from The Venture Bros. You can watch arrested development 20 times and catch new jokes that flew right over your head every time. It's an all-time great sitcom.
And yes I'm going on record, as I have many times before, to say that The Venture Bros is the greatest comedy of all time. Fight me. Also, mostly for maple, the same guys who directed the pilot episode (and a bunch of others) also directed Captain America 2 and 3 as well as the last two avengers movies. The Russo brothers, they fucking rule.
this show is hysterical!!! Jason Bateman is great in everything he appears in!!!
Interestingly enough the only non-himself role I've seen Michael Cera play is this.

The "On the next arrested development..." parts at the end are not spoilers, they are basically just extra jokes and they don't really reference the next episode

also the next time on arrested development has nothing to do with the next episode Almost every episode ends with an epilogue segment called "On the next... Arrested Development" in which lingering stories are wrapped up or extended humorously. so i don't want you guys skipping over that it misses hilarious gags
