I hope this opens up the door to more mafia films, which are some of the top rated films of any kind. Ive always thought that part of the shows success is the casting. So many of the cast have been in great mafia films or are of a certain where they understand the culture being from the old neighborhood.

Im so excited for this. Also, its crazy to me that ive been following several reaction channels for like up to 8ish years at this point, if not longer, and have been waiting for some actually good channels to react to this and now all of the sudden multiple are all starting it around the same time finally lol.

One other thing to say is that there was a 4 month gap between this episode and the next one. This was just a pilot and the creators weren't sure whether it would get picked up for more episodes. So this was made to be open-ended but motly self-contained.
The thing with Artie is that Tony didn't tell him that a hit was going to go down. And without that knowledge I agree with his wife. Never accept gifts from criminals. That will nearly always lead to other things.
If the girls enjoy this show, they will love Goodfellas. 27 different actors from that film appear in this series! It's unbelievable 😁
Maple did goodfellas on the channel already and it's already one of Arianna's favorite movies so I hope they recognize people in the show from the film.

Never heard of The Sopranos? Man that is crazy. I never even watched The Sopranos when it first aired (I was just a kid) but I couldn't escape it. It was what Game of Thrones was for modern audiences. It wasn't just a tv show, it was an event that everyone talked about.
The show is 26 years old so there is a chance she wasn't even born when it aired and by the time she was a teen it would've been off air for almost a decade.
Please do two episodes a week if you can, this will be a slog just once a week.
I was surprised they did just the one, too, especially considering there’s 85 more and a movie. I get doling BoB out 1 at a time, but still doing this show next Christmas seems a bit insane.

Gus is a face of his operation so we don't see a lot of bad stuff done by him meanwhile in the show Tony does plenty of stuff himself so I doubt he will get the Gus treatment from the girls.
I watch *a lot* of TV shows but The Sopranos has always been the one Prestige show I never got around to watching (I know, I know). So what better way to watch it here for the first time as well!
