Yes! Literally one of the best TV shows of all time and IMO has the best episode in television history. I cannot wait to see your girls reactions!
Honestly kinda disappointed you guys chose this show. It’s a blatant ripoff of one of my favourite movies, I didn’t even bother watching after the first season.
That's too bad
This is a killer, and super under-rated imo. Hope you enjoy!
best written show ever imo
You girls are gonna love this show (Mr. Robot)
After hundreds of shows I have watched in my lifetime the pilot of Mr. Robot remains my absolute favorite pilot episode of any show ever. It just hooks you in from the very first scene and never lets go. Don't get me wrong, I think pilot episodes of Breaking Bad and Lost are incredible as well, but there's something special about Mr. Robot's one that cannot be explained. As far as the show itself goes, it's an absolute masterpiece but there are times (especially in season 2) where it requires a lot of patience from the audience, but trust me when I tell you that patience will be rewarded in full and then some.
@Andrew - Agreed! You don't just press play and - 'ease into' - Mr. Robot! This series GRABS YOU and FORCIBLY 'PUTS YOU' into the underbelly of our gritty real, yet obscure and fragile engineered world (albeit a world with some 'radical' thinking/skills!) I will however offer two... and only two... potential honorable mentions of series that I'd suggest 'might' begin just as... 'brilliantly'; Orphan Black (for it's first 3 minutes) and a much different series, The Newsroom (for it's first five)! The key to Mt. Robot... though there is a 'shocking first scene'... immediately after... there is a whole series of hooks, shock, awe and sinkers!
ACTUALLY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO i was so waiting for you guys to watch this, especially after severance! this show is literally my favourite show of all time, and each season- no- each episode is better than the last. am shaking in my boots rn
oh lord good luck
Nah dude Mr. Robot is unreal, my fav tv show ever
OH SHIT HELL YEAH
Everyone talks about Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones and while those shows are great, this is my favorite show of all time. Super hyped!
LOVE IT
Yessss
Such an overlooked series. One of my favorites. Ever. It's a little too quirky for some people, but you two will love it. Thank you!
Yessss
Mr. Robot is an absolute GEM!! Especially in its 3rd and 4th banger seasons(2 is a bit underwhelming but worth the journey)
Still no Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? This is outrageous, it's unfair!
Cant blame them. That show is so radical, so risky, so dangerous, so god damn crazy, that the powers that be are scared to show it.
Never seen it but i guess can make it a first with you guys
LETS GOOOOOO
- THANK YOU DIEGESIS! - Jaw-dropping in substance.... absolutely stunning in style... Mr Robot - is one of the most overlooked, yet important TV series to be produced in the previous decade! All newcomers are going to be floored! (BTW, there is an episode well into the production called.... ‘Proxy Authentication Required’ that is so good... well... it transcends a television series. ;-)
OH GOD THAT EPISODE, quite literally the best episode of tv, or even film, I've ever watched. They aren't ready.
I've avoided this show for so long. I'm in the cyber industry and Rami's character is like everyone I work with. Rami lived across the hall from the people who did my marketing. I met him once and told him he was so good in the first episode he convinced me not to watch his show. LOL
that's really funny lol. you might get a kick out of the 'hacking' and tech stuff, it's fairly realistic... 99% more realistic than most on-screen hacking anyway. they actually open terminals and write code and have to get hard line access
I'm still waiting for the next Lord of the Rings...
We are working out our schedule don't you worry!!!
One of my fav shows of all time, this show is wild!
HELL YES!
I've never seen it, so lets' go!!!
i'm gagged. you're gonna love it!
Fantastic! This show is on another level.
I bailed after season 2, no idea what the hell they were thinking with that arc, so i'm very much looking forward to arguing with people in the comments. :P
I was a little unsure after season 2 too, since it didn't quite live up to season 1's greatness, but season 3 pulled me back in.
I thought you were gonna do Sopranos 🥺
You two are gonna love this show. Yeeeeeeeesssss
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Fantastic choice
Genuinely one of my favorite tv shows tbh
Feels like too many shows to focus on
Peaky Blinders has 11 episodes / 6 weeks (2 a week) left.
Oh dang, I'm pumped!
I literally gasped when I saw the notification. I thought this would be an "after BCS or GoT" pick! Mr Robot is a top 5 show for me and every channel I've seen cover it has LOVED it - LM reactions, James V Cinema... also Blind Wave is halfway thru Season 2 right now lol. It's still wildly underrated given its quality and there's really nothing else quite like it. Once you figure out what the themes are you're gonna dig it so much lol, it's an incredible ride through to a great finish. Legit my #2 fav show to watch reactions to, after BCS 🥰 if you know you know!!!!
I'm so glad more reaction channels are finally picking up Mr Robot, as it's such an overlooked show. Is there going to be a Mr Robot resurgence? Oh god I hope so
Cannot wait to hear your thoughts on this show!
I am so excited you are watching this. I found the entire series just impeccable. Glad I signed up for a year 😀
Pretty sweet choice for ongoing trauma. Still just waiting for two towers though
FIVE shows again?? Thought you guys would just stick to the four what with all the double bills and the frickin 60+ episode deal you have with a couple of them. Arianna, Maple, your hardcoreishness (is that a word? probly not) is an inspiration to us all.
i think they’re gonna start it when they finish peaky blinders. so it’s still gonna be 4
I am beyond excited for this one. This show is gonna blow your minds!!!
Oh perfect. another "feel good" show. definitely won't give our girls here any anxiety or deep philosophical questions about life and our existence hehehe
it's a nice show about a boy and his robot friend : )
this is not a drill!
"it's happening it's happening it's happening"
Are you guys gonna watch haunting on Hill House?
We are working out the schedule but it was anticipated :) we will let everyone know!
Yesss, I’m so here for this!!!
WOOOOHOOOOO I'M SO HYPED
I enjoyed the first two seasons. It would be interesting to pick it up again
imo it ends REALLY well. S3 and S4 are equally amazing, the ending is a banger and everyone ranks S2 the lowest (but I still love it)
YESSSS! Another banger to the line up!!!
one of my favorites
Ahh cool, I never watched beyond S1, so this will be fun
YESSSS MY FAVOURITE SHOW
oh hell yes
MY FAVORITE SHOW I'M SO HYPED
let's fucking goooooooo
I feel like this is sooner than expected but I'm not complaining
OMG
